If we don't have a new AWB and/or mag ban passed the house and senate by the end of next month they'll likely never get it through (and I'd say the chances of passing anything are almost nil).
Thanks for the clarification. I wasn't sure if they could pass things that quickly or if it took a certain number of meetings. I won't deny that I am not too familiar with how congress works (or even how often they meet, what a "session" is, etc). Looks like its time for some research on the subject.

Worst case scenario, I need to know when I can expect to no longer be carrying my Glock 23 as my CCW, or have 30rd mags. Then again, if a 10rd capacity WAS enacted, does that mean no one can possess them, you can possess them but can't use them, or you can use them and no new ones will be produced?
