A little polish here and there on a stock trigger will make things move nicely, but nothing can replace lots and lots of practice.

I have a Gen4 G22 and I shoot .40 and .357 SIG out of it through a Lone Wolf barrel. It goes boom every time I pull the trigger. It is bone stock and I don't have any complaints about it. It won't out shoot an STI race gun, but I wouldn't carry an STI everyday to the grocery store.

Some of the aftermarket parts for aGlock remind me of the number of 10/22 mods. Just like the 1911, the Glock, and the 10/22, all can be built completely from scratch with not a single stock manufacturer part. That alone means you have a classic gun.
