What's with me? You made some excuses and rationalized why it's been ok to give poor customer service recently. I took offense to that as it's not that hard. Then you told the other cat to "f off". Not cool. So now I see the type of person you are and I think you shouldn't be doing what you are doing. You don't have to like that point of view, but that's the reality.
Attacked...right. I don't know what it is about some people in the "gun world" but holy damn...it's a real shame there's people like you who can represent all gun owners.

I'm all too aware of how Boulder is perceived in general but Gunsport (the only gun shop in town) is likely the friendliest gun shop I've been in regardless of town or state. It was quite refreshing not to get the usual gun shop attitude the first time I went in there years ago.
Thinkin it might be time for some to take a break from this thread. May I suggest the "Joke of the Day" thread?
My experience at Grand Prix down south here has been really good, even when they were going crazy with the demand. Very helpful and easy going.

Who sells the best beef jerky at Tanner?
Because of the attitude that many gun store employees exhibit... I only use gun stores for their ranges or FFL service now. I'm one that strongly believes in supporting local businesses, but I also believe that it isn't hard to at least fake a smile and customer service. Out of the dozens of firearms I own... I've purchased them all online or face-to-face. Local gun shops can't beat or even meet the prices of online retailers and that isn't just firearms... that goes for ammo as well. Since they can't beat the prices of online retailers, the ONLY thing they have that could make me purchase locally is customer service. If they don't provide good, FRIENDLY customer service, they are of no use to me. I'll drop 15 bucks here or there for a lane in the range at local gun stores, but that is about it.
