Motortrend did a writeup recently. The 9 speed is cool. Not Jeepy enough. Think it shares drive train with the Dart. I read somewhere that jeep is the only all American line up. Every one of their cars is made here.

Meh. Get an Xterra.
Xterras have better offroading specs (ground clearance, approach angle, etc) and better features for a lot less money.

Too bad Fiat bought them though. I own an 08 Rubicon, my only complaint is that it has the 3.8 instead of 3.6 engine for the better HP and gas milage. It really is trail rated and all you expect from the name Jeep. These other 'Jeeps' that have been coming out.... Not so much (ya that SRT is sweet though). If you want a concrete jungle queen for Colorado snow and like the look... Its your money.

Tough crowd here...Im on a budget...Cant afford a SRT or Hemi...I will re-look at the Xterra though....Maybe Ill keep my paid off Subaru that still runs great and buy a new gun and more ammo : ) Thanks all!!

Well, I just sold my 01 silverado for a '14 Xterra and it certainly was nice not having a car payment... Don't get excited and spend a big chunk of $$$ because you are emotional.
