Since there is a spoiler thread, I will say what I think abut it. The show was a mess. Harrison Ford reprising his role as Han saves it from being a disaster and his scenes were worth watching. Abrams trying to invoke nostalgia, just comes off repeating stories that have already been told just like his hatchet job with Into Darkness. I spent the entire movie thinking to myself, I already saw this in 1977. Beyond the repetition, the plot changes didn't make sense. What is the back story after return of the Jedi? I can't imagine a story line that didn't involve Luke rebuilding the Jedi order. How could the Leia, Luke, and Han of the first trilogy never talk to each other in this movie? The only thing we saw is repetition with no answers as to why. By the time Han made his sacrificial walk, I just sat there....really, can't you people come up with an original idea? The movie was just the 21st century PC version of A New Hope. Rey and Ren are somewhat interesting, but I hope they do more then retread the first trilogy in the sequels.
