wind has blown over 2 panels I can see from my house, not my panels yet, thank goodness.

Been trying to get home for 3 hours. I70 and Pena to 10mi north of Bennett.
Power went out a few hours ago. I pulled out the generators and kerosene heater, all fired up and ready if needed. Now the power is back on, as I figured it would be, but I’d rather get stuff ready and not need it, than try to dig it all out in the dark. Good little function check, if nothing else, and I got to make sure the neighbors remember who the noisy guy is.
ETA: now it’s out again.

Power out in Franktown since 11:00, never seen it blow and snow this bad. Not a large amount of snow but very windy.
Well, i can tell you one thing...Its gonna take a while to shovel all of this shit later. I turned from rain to snow at my house around 10am and has been snowing sideways since. The hard winds mixed in is what's really made is so bad. Power's flickered a few times, but not gone out yet. We're ready if it does though.

What is with all the jackasses driving with their hazards on? At a minimum, it is just distracting. I can't tell if the car in front of me is stranded and I need to go around, or is just letting me know it's snowing.
ARGHHHHH!
Took 2 hours to go 10 miles in the Springs. Bringing the wife back from the hospital, she's starving, so we find an open McDonalds. As soon as we get to the drive through window, the power goes out - no sales. Cars, trucks, 18 wheelers stuck everywhere. Visibility 0 to 30 ft. Made it home, ate a pizza, and started a fire.
Stay home, stay safe.
