If it's new, keep in mind it'll run Android Apps too (especially handy if you have an Android phone).

This was my "Ah Ha!" moment over the snow days when I discovered I can run Practiscore on my Chromebook and have a real keyboard with which to enter names. On the line I'll still use tablets.

Spent the day yesterday plowing and shoveling until my drive belt snapped on the mule. Had to winch it out of the road, but at least it's on my property and I'd finished the road. This morning, I was welcomed with a 4 foot plow drift across the end of my driveway - had to shovel it out of the way. The neighbors above me pay some kid to plow the road, and he does it whether I've already plowed or not. We'll be having a talk next time I see him around.

Yeah there's a lot of little quirks I'm not use to but overall it's a pretty cool laptop-the tap to click feature is real nice !!

Been stalling for couple hours hoping wind would die down a little more. 40mph wind is better than 60 but still sucks to be on tractor in it.

Sometimes it's useful to have a loader bucket to remove deep snow but in most situations using a tractor for snow removal really sucks unless you have a heated cab. Loader buckets are often inefficient and can mess up a driveway. I use the John Deere on our farm road in Palisade but fortunately seldom need it more than once or twice a year. On Wednesday I drove the Peak-to-Peak highway when snow plows were working everywhere. I watched a fellow clearing his long drive with a tractor. He had to be miserable in the blizzard wind and snow.

Most folks in the mountains use a pickup or similar with a plow. I've had 6 or 7 plow rigs over the years including an International Scout II like the one below. Four wheel chains turn them into a tank in deep powder and chains are often necessary in heavy wet spring snows. It sure is nice to have a good heater and defroster.

I plowed commercially for years and found the little Toyotas are fast and reliable rigs for small to medium size lots and driveways. My '85 SR5 is my second one and has plowed for 15 years. If I ever got another dedicated rig I'd seriously look at an articulating skid loader with a cab and 6' or 7' snow thrower on the front.

On Wednesday morning our power, phones and internet went out. All were restored after 24 hours. We cooked dinner by Coleman propane lamps. Just like camping. If the power had stayed off much longer I would had dragged out the generator. We have two freezers full of food to save. When I build a new garage we'll install an automatic backup gen set.

Altogether we got about 25 inches of snow but not the kind of winds and drifting the folks out east had. I plowed three times in the two days and used the snowthrower twice. Like I said before, you can't buy this much fun in the big city.

I was stranded in Elbert county for 20 hours in my truck. Some lady decided to just stop in the middle of the road becaus she couldn’t see. Army national guard picked my wife and I up at 8am. Went to dig everyone out today. Jeep, F150s were covered completely with snow. Still digging out my backyard, that will take some time.

Was comfy in the truck, head heated seats and 50gallons of diesel.

Always fill up the tank before any potential blizzard.

Sounds like you had quite the Blizzard Experience, but it's great to know you have a full tank in reserve.

    Good job.

Ain't much a guy can do with 4' deep 25-30' wide 60mph packed drifts cept dig thru it. Loader gets into blind alleys and pens and pulls duty in the other seasons too.

Cab sure would be nice, usually end up having to move snow before storm ends.

Commercial tractor would be better and articulating loader would be da shit.
