Just to be honest, I dont ride a bike unless it has a motor, i'm too fat!

We all should just realize that those fello Coloradians riding bikes are someone's Mom, Dad, Brother, Sister, Son or Daughter..... We would all feel like shit if we were to hit one.

If this was a thread about motorist being dicks to motorcyclists, your guys would be raging on DF motorists and truck drivers. But since none of you fatties has been on a bicycle in 20-30 years its OK.

Agreed, but someone's mom, dad, sister, etc. is still an asshole if they don't share the road and hold up traffic. I read a study that showed if one person drives 10MPH under the speed limit and slows down 15 cars behind them, causing them to be later than they originally anticipated for work the productivity of 15 different businesses dips below acceptable levels... its a matter of math and logic. So conversely, if one asshat cyclist decides not to move over to allow traffic to go 35 instead of 15 on the road they could be responsible for the loss of MILLIONS of dollars in missed or not completed work... thus, it's just plain common courtesy for people on bikes to move out of the way for cars. It only takes one prick to decide they're not going to let some cyclist be a complete ass and then the rules of the sea come in (bigger boat should have right of way- because the bigger boat ALWAYS wins). I'm not advocating treat bikes like lower forms of life, I'm advocating if a bike is in the middle of the road, regardless of what the law says, they're a piece of shit and should get off the road. I've lived in several states, visited even more, and Colorado is the WORST in regards to how many cyclists are on the road and how many of said cyclists don't obey the traffic laws that they should. I don't give a good god damn if they feel they have the right of way- registration tax, fuel tax, and automotive sales tax are paid so cars can use the roads... I don't see bicycle tax so they can, so their using the road doesn't give them the right to infringe on traffic and use as much road as they want. Cyclists should just be kind, share the road, and only get mad at the asshole drivers.
Delfuego- I have a stationary bike at home to get my exercise- that way I don't have to brave the roads and piss people off.
Low Drag- carry your gun, but beware using it... you get a mock clip with a mirror and draw and fire, that's 1+ tons of steel that would turn you into street spaghetti pretty quick... at least that's what I'd do if a cyclist fired at me. No one has the right to harm other, and it's a double edged sword.
