In all seriousness, it all depends on when they poured the concrete. If it was winter time, watch it.

Naw.. Big different.. Air bubble underneath so obvious and so on. The one, my client had to go through was so bad that the builder had to demo, and redo his garage floor and drive way.
Their excuse was that his unit was an end unit so he got the last truck. Who knows how long the concrete were in the mixer til it was poured.
While that's true, a bad mix is far more obvious than a decent one. :)
Bad mix (not slump tested), underestimated order (dished), poor finish work (flaking < 6months).
Good mix that passes slump test, perfect order, and excellent workmanship. I have examples of both at my shack.

Yeah they are awesome! Only downside is they don't make them for the first gen double cabs, I didn't realize there was a difference, but sure enough there is. Don't fit perfect towards the back of the mat, but it's not a big enough deal for me to return them.

Weird. I would have thought that they did being as popular as those are. I've got them for just about every vehicle I've owned for a long time now and it's the only floor mats I buy nowadays. WeatherTech Digital Liners FTW!

Appreciate the offer, have the bottle and welder, just needed a "real" cart, even a cheap one was better than what I had. Also the gauges of the regulator were SMASHED so I had to get a new one. (no guages available locally, regulator as a package though) All of this just for a 10 minute welding job. :(
Whoops, read that wrong probably, you're asking for a good deal somewhere. My bad. :(
Just check locally with General Air or US Welding. Not sure of any good deals??

Yeah, I've always liked the reg cab, too. Once upon a time I had an '05 Silverado Z71 reg cab short bed that was awesome, and paid off. Like an idiot I traded it in for a truck payment, and have had one ever since. I wish I would have kept that truck. I don't even have a real picture of it anymore. This is the closest one I have:

You can use those things for tea? My wife has one and all she makes with it is coffee so I never really cared that we had one since I'm not a coffee drinker. Now that I know you can brew up some tea I may have discovered a new appliance on our counter. lol

Thanks! I had the dealer install a MOPAR Stage 2 lift and the Duratrac 35" tires.
Very nice, you won't be disappointed by those tires, just wait for the first good snow!

Heck yes man, I love my STI. Just wait until there's a foot of snow... you're going to love it even more. I love being able to just stop, crank the wheel, gas it, and spin around in place....
Everyone was talking about snow and this was about what I was expecting. Just cold and wind with a little bit of rain/sleet/hail overnight. It's perfect meat smokin' weather! Pork butt in there cookin' low & slow. Who likes pulled pork!?!

That is the Strike Industries rail. Cost is $135 shipped. Price probably won't stay that low for long. It is extremely light, has a great feel to it and it comes with the barrel nut and wrench to boot. The only thing it doesn't come with is rail sections, but for the price it's still a good package.

Had to grind some of the threaded mount since it has a awkward angle.

A replacement for something the wife now possesses..........
We're having a groundhog problem at our home. They're digging under a stone wall and making their home. The wall is starting to shift it's weight. They also did a number on our plants this year
My 11 year old daughter said she'd take care of the problem for me

it's just a Gamo Pellet gun. 1400 fps of .177. It's a little heavier than I expected, has a "real gun" feel to it. We set up some cans last night so she could zero the scope

I have this same pellet gun. It's killed an uncountable number of squirrels (by the wife) and raccoons with head shots so it should do well with ground hogs. And congrats to you for having someone on the ready to control the pests :) !!!

Just got this new baby on Friday- then went and put 100 rounds through her! Sig M11-A1 (P228); compliments my duty gun (P229) very well as they both use the same magazines, are comparable in size (although the M11 is lacking the rail the 229 has) and are both manufactured by a superior firearms company. Nice.
I've been lusting after the new P227. Double stack .45ACP!
But the gun fund is quite low at the moment.

I found out a couple weeks ago when I get hired and start my field training with a department, for that period of time I get the GI Bill housing allowance along with my salary- POF will stay at home and, department policy pending, I'll be getting a DDM4 for my patrol rifle- way lighter than the POF. No worries- your gun fund will rebound and you'll have that P227 in no time! I'm still a firm believer that Sig is one of, if not the, best companies out there.

I started this thread just over two years ago on 07/16/11. As of today it is 200 pages, has 3,983 replies, and 383,110 views.
The thread I got the idea from is on a national site that has been around since 1998?, but the subject matter is much more limited.
That thread was started on 11/27/08 and is 225 pages, has 4,489 replies, and only 66,480 views. I thought the difference was pretty cool.

People who like guns often like to show off their stuff more than other people.
Other website is a car site. Lots of similarly minded people. I'm proud of how much action we have going on here.
Unfortunately it's not only other gun folks ogling our stuff.

How do you like that tape switch there? Seems like it would be a bit of a reach to get to, almost like you need to change your grip uncomfortably to manipulate it.

Works perfect for me. I wouldnt change a thing. I can easily manipulate the switch with my middle finger and I do not have to worry about changing my grip at all.

Picked this guy up a week and a half ago. Waffen Werks AK-74 from Classic Arms. Bayonet is from Apex, sling I got from Alxone. Installed US Palm grip, Krebs safety and a CAA mag release. I kept my mags when I sold my old AK earlier this year.

It's an aftermarket stock that is designed to bolt onto a fixed stock rear trunnion rifle. It is longer than the original AK folder due to the big adapter piece that bolts onto the trunnion.
