Picking up my BluRay copy in a couple hours, incredible book, looking forward to this as I missed it in the theater.
Hoping this is mine and not for a customer. It'll be a good day either way - these are always more fun vs. regular mail unboxing... :)

A Husqvarna Honda 190, hopefully a little more powerful for our dry land country grasses and weeds. Our farm eats lawnmowers for breakfast.

Picked up my first revolver.
Tanner purchase for $250. Well under my budget.
I like it so far after a range trip.

Definately more fun than a lawnmower. Hey, maybe I could use it to mow the weeds!

Puts a whole new light on the 'can I borrow your chainsaw to cut down a tree' conversation.

Yea, somehow I doubt Brian or my neighbors would appreciate my using the SAW as a chainsaw, or an UZI for mowing weeds. But hey, Brian, can I borrow your chainSAW?
(The Noveske didn't quite cut it, needed more "rapido".)

What's for dinner?
First dinner or second dinner?
Last meal will be 8oz London broil steak, 1 cup rice with a fried egg on top and 1 cup broccoli.
LOL, I do wonder how many belts of .223 it would take to chop down a small tree.
I'm betting you'd have better luck with your neighbors than I'd have with my HOA, however. :)

Irving,
Being the Chief of the RePost police, you should know that it is against the site rules to do cross-thread post....... [Tooth]
You can move that pile as a one man job using a walk behind loader..... It is like a Bobcat skid loader except you walk behind it, and it is narrow enough to fit most yard gates.
I've got a borrowed wheelbarrow that is crusted over with concrete, some shovels (all with broken handles), two five gallon buckets, and an 8 year-old girl.
Oh yeah, most importantly, I've got beers and I have to work tomorrow all day.
While we're speaking of cross posting, I stood on roofs today while it was 100 degrees, AND I was in an attic as well. Why wouldn't I want to come home and haul dirt all night?
12 beers, here I come.

Acquired this old Hoosier cabinet from an old farmer the other day. I was filling a tank by his machine shed and saw this, covered in dust and bird droppings, against the back wall. He said it was in his grandparents house as a kid in the 30s and 40s and he inherited it in 77. He figured it was at least 100 years old. He put in the shed about 10 years ago when he built an addition on his house. It's got some minor water damage but it's in remarkably good shape and even has the original glass.
I agreed to his demands...pay him the amount on the propane bill for 103 gals of propane and he'd release it to me unharmed. Went back after work and picked it up and Mrs BG and I spent the next day cleaning it.

Just put this on layaway at 5280 Armory. Rossi R92-52011, .45 Colt, 24" octagonal barrel, stainless. I've been wanting a blued one but found out Rossi's discontinued the 24" octagonal models. Gotta get whatcha can find. Still can't believe the wife went for it. Tired of my whining I guess.

Yeah...if you look closely to that middle row of what look like drawers, just below the glass and upper cabinet you'll see the rounded hoppers on each side.

No problem, still got a lot more to do, been working on it since September. I've always loved 70's scramblers so that's the look I'm going for.
Who says Harley's are just street bikes, I've been having a blast with this thing out in the dirt.

Yea 2012 Sportster Iron. So far I raised it way up, had a custom 2 up scrambler seat built for it, put on Moto bars.
I have wanted to build build one like this for years and this was the closest Harley built to start from. I bought this in September. About 3 weeks ago Harley released a new sportster called the roadster that would be an even better starting point. It comes already raised up, it comes stock with an 18" rear wheel, and it has an awesome dual disc upside fork front end. Just my luck.
I had a 2008 Roadster. It was the last year they made them. Well, not any more I guess.

I'm SO on the fence about getting one of these right now but in black and 45acp. As much as I can't justify owning one with all the SBR'd SMG-types I've got currently they're just so cool. They fixed a lot of the issues I had with them on the first generation in this generation so it's getting harder to hold out.

Yea I really wanted black and won an auction for a black one, then the dealer let me know someone bought it in the store that morning. All the other black ones sold that day and things were crazy so when he offered me an FDE one I took it. My plan was to cerakote it, but now that it's in hand I'm kinda digging it.
Might still ill have it coated something totally different

VA reciprocity coming July 1 according to this.
http://www.vsp.state.va.us/Firearms_Reciprocity.shtm
They list current reciprocity, which does not include Colorado, but then it goes on to this section:
EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 2016
The holder of a valid concealed handgun or concealed weapon permit or license issued by another state may carry a concealed handgun in Virginia provided:
the holder of such permit or license is at least 21 years of age; and
the permit or license holder carries a photo identification issued by a government agency of any state or by the U.S. Department of Defense or U.S. Department of State; and
the holder displays the permit or license and such identification upon demand by a law-enforcement officer; and
the permit or license holder has not previously had a Virginia concealed handgun permit revoked.
The legislation also provides that the Virginia State Police in conjunction with the Office of the Attorney General will work with the various jurisdictions to secure reciprocal privileges for Virginia citizens desiring to carry concealed in other states.
Although the new law will require Virginia to grant recognition to all states that issue permits, those states may not authorize Virginia permit holders to possess a firearm in their state. You will need to contact each state to determine if they will recognize your Virginia permit.
Your interpretation may differ so I would check after July 1 if you intend to carry in VA.

Not really a purchase, I'm in VA for a couple more weeks of training and went in to the local Duck Hill and promptly started crying at all the freedom. Although VA doesn't respect my right to self defense enough to allow for me, a CO resident to carry my sidearm concealed.

They are phenomenal. I know several guys from another forum who have been raving about the VP9. I went to the gun club to check one out and the guy at the counter said to compare it with the Walther PPQ M2. Rented and shot both the other night. The Walther was darn close, but I shot the VP9 incredibly well right out of the gate and was very consistent with it. It's a great shooter and it's SO damn ergonomic that I had to get one.
I wouldn't cry if someone dropped that PPQ in my lap, though, either.

I got it at Trigger Time in Longmont. They had a few come in last week and I had them put my name on one. They may or may not have any left, not sure. I get a member discount on firearms there, not sure what retail is.

Nice. Someday when they quit cancelling all of my IDPA matches I might actually get to shoot mine.
The sights on the base model are my only complaint. Easy enough to swap out for something better I suppose. Just have to decide what. Leaning towards the Trijicon HD's.

Yeah . . . they aren't the greatest sights on there, but they'll do for starters. I had a couple people tell me to avoid the LE model because the night sights that come with it aren't good--not worth the added cost. I'll look into some down the road--probably Trijicon's, which a few of the guys I know have put on theirs.

I just ordered a new set of tires for my suv...The old one has lots of tread left, but it was getting to that age where dry rot could be an issue. Today was the last day of the 70 dollar off deal with most of the major players...I went with CostCo because they offered direct cash discount versus pre-paid credit card.

Thanks! I figured he'd want to build an AR lower or something like that, but the Savage and Ruger bolt action 22's looked pretty cool. 10/22 was an option, but he liked that bolt action. Shoots great! I'll post up a pick later on of the group size.

Thank you! Chrome has just never really appealed to me. I left some chrome on there to give it a two tone look and to keep it from looking like a work truck model. Plus chrome is so hard to keep clean and shiny this will save me a lot of time when I detail it. I'm very OCD when I detail any of my vehicles and the wheels tie up enough of my time as it is so getting rid of any extra chrome will help a lot. I like this stuff a lot and will be doing the same to my dads truck next.

How well does that Plasti-dip spray hold up against rock chips, sun, weather and other road rash?
Well it hasn't been on there that long but its holding up great. The key is to apply it heavy. Obviously the thicker coating makes it harder to damage but also it makes it a lot easier to remove. Literally peel back a corner and the rest will come off in a big sheet/one piece. I hand wash my truck and it holds up to the scrubbing and pressure washer to remove the bugs. I checked the other day for rock chips and none were to be found but time will tell. So far I am very pleased with it.
I've had it on the front of my truck for years and it's holding up great

Purdy!!! I'm a bigger fan of .30-30, .44mag and .45-70. Still, that is a nice shootin' iron.

This is a Delta Universal Mobile Base kit that I put together so I can move a 400 lb. pottery kiln around the garage shop. I use a similar welded mobile base for my Delta contractors table saw which works like a charm. This kit is made to be assembled with hardwood to whatever dimensions are needed for any machinery. Since the kiln will fire at up to 2600° F, I didn't want any flammables in the frame. Instead of using hardwood I cut 1.5" square steel stock, drilled 50 holes and coated the metal. It's pretty slick, and hell for stout. Now I can assemble the kiln and start putting it to use, then stow it in a corner out of the way.
One of my goals is to get most everything in the garage shop on wheels--all the storage racks, tool chests, machine stands, winery and pottery equipment, everything easily moveable.

Ha ha! Us broken down old guys have to think about how to avoid the wear and tear that comes with lifting heavy stuff. Now if I can figure out how to put wheels on the Garands....:)

Once the Brits voted to leave the EU, the bottom fell out of the Pound. I took advantage of the realtively strong dollar and picked up some new wheels and other goodies. I saved over 150 bucks.

Now that's thinking! Great job
I must have this!
for sure!
That's really sweet! Looks like an original US market Mini Cooper with modern wheels. Please tell us more.
These were hot items in the autocross and SCCA racing circuits back then. A souped up mini could outrun many muscle cars on a tight course. My buddy had a beauty of a mini station wagon, a woody. I raced with an Austin Healey Bugeye Sprite, an MGBGT and a Lotus Elan +2.

It is a UK Austin Mini. Right hand drive, 1275cc engine that pushes 70 WHP. The wheels are new but the old style. It is sitting on 12X5 wheels with 8.4inch disc brakes up front. It is all original except the new wheels :).

It sure is a beauty. From the pic I couldn't tell which side the steering wheel was on. What year is it? Do you have a beemer Mini to go with it?

Cool, I read about those.
Picked this up in Fairplay earlier this month. It's a Smitty hand made "production" hat (not custom). 100% rabbit in chestnut.
I have a weird shaped head. The fact that it fit surprised me. Been looking for a fedora for a while. Vintage stuff just doesn't fit.
Been hearing about Smitty for a while. Excellent customer service. Your are only a new customer once.

No sir. Just a standard 4 speed just like one of our cars. The shift pattern is the same and so are the pedals. The only thing that is different is that the steering is on the right side.

We buy alot from craigslist.
The sticker was still on these. I looked them up on the website they came from $1332 each or $2664 for both plus shipping and or tax.
I paid $200 total for 2 sets of them. Now we have nice picnic tables that will hopefully hold up in the wind and sun. With seating for 16 they will almost seat us all too.
Heavy gauge steel with a very heavy coating. These are the dipped ones that you see in commercial applications.

I like them (have three) better than the MagPul. They have a really tight fit to the tube, so no rattle, good angle and there are three steel ambi QD cups. Lightweight too. When I do not need a raised cheek riser, it is my go to stock.

66347I found another one like my other 2 Colt 380’s so now I have 3 little Colts. I can’t seem to resist these little well made good shooting blasters. At my LGS people trade in all kinds of 380’s to get Glock 42’s and 43’s and since I don’t need any more of those I buy the trade in’s. I just recently got a Kahr P380 as well. This one’s serial number is only 32 from my other one like it. I don’t even carry 380 but that never stopped me from buying them.
