Well not mine, apparently they use to come with MI sights (YUCK) but now come with Troy's branded with KRISS on the sights themselves. Regardless, this is my latest significant purchase. I've already snagged 5 Kriss mags (well two assembled and three upgrade kits) and a few odds and ends like a front outboard rail for a light, and a couple of sling adapters, which is one of the most significant short comings of the weapon body. A distinct lack of sling mount points. Lastly, no VFG on mine, I'm going to cut down an AFG and mount it instead.

First ever air rifle for me! It sounds silly but I didn't even own a BB gun (aside from when I was a kid) until now. I was frustrated that I had enough weaponry to outfit a small 3rd world revolution yet I don't have anything small enough to deal with a rabbit & pigeon problem we have. We live in the very NW edge of Loveland next to the foothills so city laws still apply and I can't just bust out any of my other rifles to deal with the problem yet we're far enough out that we do have a problem. Our neighborhood was mentioned specifically in the Denver Post in a story about rattle snakes. An influx of rabbits are not helping this situation so I'm going to zero this bad boy in and do my part when nobody is looking. lol

I had it out at the range this past weekend and it was a hoot. Very accurate and a ton of fun. If you are thinking about it I would say go for it, I don't see them getting cheaper any time soon.

Nice pics. Check back a few pages where we're talking about MTE flashlights and check out the MS-2I with 1,000 lumen option. It's quite a bit less money than the Fury, 2x brighter (saw with my own eyes side by side) and is made by a local guy out of Boulder that is VERY keen to working with people just like us to produce what we want. I highly suggest checking them out and there are several people with his stuff so I'm sure someone would even let you check theirs out in person. Didn't get a chance to snap a pic of the finished product but I loved how it hit 700° within 15min. I dropped the temp down and threw a couple breasts on with a bit of applewood and they came out awesome! I had an old webber that worked great for charcoal grilling, but this thing is seriously worth every penny. After watching my cousin use his for a while I had to get one. It has my old webber beat in terms of versatility and temp control; I've owned and used quite a few types of charcoal grills and none were nowhere near as responsive (temp-wise) as the kamodo...well...there was my buddy's green egg, but paint it green, swap the bases, and the differences would be difficult to point out between the joe and egg, but I digress. In terms of versatility, it can be used as an oven, smoker, or grill. If you're hardcore, the ceramic body is awesome for those cold winter days when you just may be in the mood for some smoked goodness...not so much for lifting however, dang thing is somewhere around a buck-fiddy. I'm gonna hang on to my gasser though Irv, it's pretty handy for those days where I'll just want a quick burger, or when the extra grill space will be needed. That pad is where I normally grill so as soon as I get a cover for the Joe, I'll stick it over there too lol.

It's a previously owned CZ 452 Varmint Thumbhole .22lr with a Vortex Crossfire II 6-18x V-Brite scope. I've got shorter rings on the way, and then it's off to the range. I put a 25 MOA rail on it to hit 200m targets. I really like the reticle on this scope for small targets.

I was pretty supprised when I pulled up the thread and saw this. We have one of these sitting on the mantle that was my grandfathers. Looks just like it but a bit more used. He got it for parades and shootouts in Wyoming years and years back.

It is a barebones server system to replace the virtualized instance running the ww2 (and currently only) mirror for the site. Will be acquiring drives, RAM and processors in the next short while. Will likely be some evening down-time one night to transfer, but we won't have these small outage struggles like this morning.

Read it the day it came out on Kindle and have the hardcopy too. These books are great for making me feel like a piece of shit so it's a good read if you need motivation.

Great book. Nothing in it about tactics and gear that I wasn't already aware of so it's too bad he's getting the shaft.

Recently some hackers said they hacked Romney's tax records and will release the information to the first person to pay them 1,000,000 bitcoins. I suspect that the new news coverage will draw attention to bitcoins from laymen again.
