Unfortunately not.
Those are actually sizeable ant hills. May get around to filling them with aluminum some day.

So this was more of a slow work in progress for the past 18 months than a "latest" purchase but...

My second stamp for my SBR came through today and I FINALLY can call my 9mm build "complete" (until I decide to change something).

You running a spacer in the tube, instead of the spring / booster? if not, do some reading as a pistol can has the potential to distort the threads on carbine bbls.

http://www.store.silencerco.com/collections/handgun/products/fixed-barrel-spacer

here's a semi reliable vid from a guy who did his own spacer. I used a section off a broken 1" scope tube. Once i remember where i read the info from solid sources i'll post it, maybe ;) Like the silencerco spacer i milled relief cuts in mine. YHM has cuts in their unit, I'm running a YHM why not.

Yeah, I have the "official" AAC fixed barrel spacer in there when it's on the AR. For $20 I figured it was a small chunk of change to ensure they couldn't say I voided the warranty in the event of a baffle strike and had rigged up my own spacer. [panic]

Groovy. I turned mine down on the lathe. Being able to square up some stock is piece of mind. Figured with 3 F1 cans completed, why not with the spacer. It's a nicely done carbine. 147's down the pipe are impressive. IF i didn't value my gun rights, i'f let some off in the area. PESKY DISCHARGING FIREARM In CITY LIMITS LAWS.

Went to pick up a buffer tube detent and spring, just few bucks at Bowers Tactical..... Ended up over a few bucks with an H2 buffer/spring which was better suited, AP nickel boron BCG, some 22lr for my M&P 15-22, then decided to go ahead and pick up the AP lower..... once background check was done, decided to swap out the PSA lower for the Spikes Tactical, keeping the PSA as I don't know what in the future. And then while the lower swap over was being done, grabbed an enhanced aluminum trigger guard.

I work close to this shop and this is why I try to avoid the place at all costs.....

Funny how a quick morning armslist browse turns into let me take my new Aero Precision lower back to Bowers Tactical and look into a couple of parts to start the build.

Then under complete hypnosis again.... walking out with a full build. Being in that shop is worse than seeing that perfect 10 at the strip club!! Didn't even use that damn AP Lower.

Yes and no. Sort of. Lol.

Its imported by I.O. but is actually built in Romania at the same plant that makes the WASR's. So, technically it's a WASR that wasn't imported by Century.

Pretty much decided to make this into a project since I'm into it pretty cheap. Already stripped it down as far as I can go for now. I'll have to get to a press to get the gas block off.

We have that faucet. Beware, sometimes the sun can set off that upper sensor! That won't help your water bill. We keep the blinds behind the sink low enough to protect it until the sun gets past that point.
Also, get ready for some wet ...when you reach into the sink and the sensor in front "sees" you.

Good to know. That window faces north and there is a big tree right there so hopefully that won't be an issue. And one already gotten soaked. Reached in for something and my sleeve got it. I'm slowly figuring out the tricks though. We turn it on a little bit when we are getting ready to bathe the baby so it doesn't turn on. A drop is better than a stream.

Keep your eye out on used units. I actually bought ours used from a boulderite for $125 in excellent shape and it's the newest edition with longer filter life. I did buy all new filters for it though which are very pricey. We got all 3 filters for $330, normally $400-$500...they're supposed to last 2ish years or so. Just for comparison, this unit with filters runs $900

+1, Mrs bo been researching them, confirmed effective units have had a price tag that made me cringe.

The cost of an air purifier versus an adult or child being able to breath without issue. Can't put a price on that.

If I had a bigger house, this would probably be the route we'd go but the IQAir HealthPro Plus covers up to 1125sqft. My ranch style house is that size as we're not in the basement ever.....that should be my next purchase, finishing the remodel down there:D

What's the tow capacity and engine size in that unit?

3.5L and I believe ~6400.
FWIW, I bought my 1 ton to tow a YJ Wrangler on a tow dolly. I did that a handful of times.
Then I sold the YJ for a JK for my wife. Which I hated. Eventually got rid of the dolly and then the JK.
So I haven't towed in at least 6 or 7 years. Got the tow package b/c I wanted the tranny cooler (after years of Chrysler) and the hitch for bikes.

Really just wanted a smaller truck that would fit more places and that my wife would drive (hence the auto).

Secksi! Welcome to the club.

[Beer] Thanks!

If you are into the ridiculous, I might say my wife and I attempted the "double flip."
I'd been trying to get a '16 for months. We traded the 07 CTD in to Dodge for a 2013 SR5 (MT) and then traded the 13 in to Toyota for the 16. Silliness.
However, we came out ~$1000 ahead there. However, we just could NOT get an OR without the "tech packages." Couldn't order one. TWO dealerships could not get that into queue for about a month.
Knew this orange was coming in and although not my wife's favorite, I wanted it.

Edit: Last thought, this one will stay +/- stock, although I did order a Snugtop Rebel for it. :)

I don't remember if I posted before or not but I wrecked my truck early in December. I got it back Friday night and bought some new Hankook Dynapros for it.

Still needs the bed liner sprayed in but that can't be scheduled until the end of the month.

The shop asked if I just wanted the trim pieces so I could spray them with Plasti-dip and then put them on. They deducted the labor for install from my deductible.

I also need to spray the wheel.

Wow, shops must be clearing up their backlog if you wrecked in December and already have it back, especially with that extent of damage. Wife got rear ended back in Feb of last year and shop couldn't get us in until July. That was for bumper cover only!
By the way, if you liked the work the shop did, might as well post them up because people are always asking about shops on here.

I will see if I can keep this one a while. There was a three screw on Armslist a few weeks back but they wanted about $200 too much for the condition so I passed. Box jumps onto the tail gate, planking across the bed rails, burpees in the bed, back extensions off the tail gate, advanced burpees with a box jump onto the cab, pushing the truck 20 yards in place of tire flips, wall walk-ups on the side of the extended cab, changing the tires in the lunge position, etc.
You could be the first person I ban twice.[emoji33]

Probably will be anyway.[emoji12]

I don't think you understand. HCWT was asking for a hidden sub forum for Tacoma only drivers to look and post in so us real truck drivers wouldn't have to look at pictures of the girl trucks and all the add ons needed to try and make them manly.

and I jokingly said there is a sub forum.,,in the ladies room. Then there was oh snapping, hahahahing, and pictures of real trucks posted.

its okay, I don't expect dudes who drive trucks made for women to get my humor.[Coffee]

L

and I'm completely joking of course, nothing meant to be mean, I just kid around is all. Nothing serious.

No, I got it, what you were going for was clear.
If you look how it was actually written, the "non" part made it the opposite - and I read it as Irving.

None to worry, I've been around long enough for these. I've had two diesel full size trucks. I'm at a different stage in life now. :)

It's to prevent ice damming, which isn't really dependant on roof type. I think those wires only heat up to 40-50 degrees or something. Probably only as fire hazardy as Christmas lights.

My dad has had this (or similar) system installed on about 150 linear feet of his roof for almost a decade now. No more water damage from ice dams. He lives in Michigan.

Jer,
I got the exact same unit after thanksgiving. OUTSTANDING SMOKER/GRILL. I am not a noob to pellet cookers as I have had a Traeger for several years. Hands down, the GMG is a superior unit. Some tips for you. The right side is most likely going to be hotter than the left. A lot hotter. It's a common problem they are working on and have a fix, but it depends on what drip pans and heat shield you got with your unit. If it is the stainless steel box style heat shield and stainless drip pans, then you have the newer style and it is causing uneven heat. Mine is about 100 degrees hotter on the right. The fix is an even newer style heat shield box. It has larger slots cut in in so you can slide it to the right a bit. Here is best thing, Email GMG if you are having a problem with uneven heat if you got the older style heat shield box. They will send you the newer style!!!! Their customer service is mind blowing. Have a problem, just call and they will work things out over the phone. Leave them a message, they call back asap. Emails are answered pronto as well!
If you are new to pellet grills, I highly suggest the brand of pellets called Cookingpellets.com They are available on amazon for the best price. They have the best flavor, best heat, and lowest ash. Also 100% hardwoods. Their 100% hickory is awesome.
Here is the best tip I can give you if you don't have one yet. GET THE THERMAL BLANKET AND GET ONE NOW!!!!!!!!!!!! It is an absolute must in the cold temps or you will be chewing through pellets faster than a fat kid through cake.!! It makes a huge difference. Check their website for a dealer near you. If you can't find one, there is a dealer in Lakewood that stocks them and their price is better than online.
Don't hesitate to PM me if you have any questions. I use mine about every night and have since I got it.

I run one of these works well. Without a name brand price tag. That and a few foil wrapped bricks in the bottom / sides for winter smokin.

I used that same cyherself blanket on my traeger. Worked good. Held it on with magnets. Now I prefer the ones from the manufacturer. Work a bit better for heat retention and much easier to lift the lid and close again. Also does not blow off in the wind. However, the welding one is 1/4 the price.

Yeah, they are popping up everywhere now. I won one on a site myself. It's definitely a win for dealers/sellers. They are getting full retail for the firearms and you may win one for cheap if your lucky. Some of the new sites I have seen recently (local Colorado) are really making a killing I bet. They are getting way over retail for the firearms/parts if you add up the cost of the "raffle" tickets.
I wonder how long this will last before they get shut down? Not sure about Colorado law but there are some states that have specific rules on "raffles".

I killed my most recent set of Keen's, so new work boots. Hopefully these last longer than 13 months (not a knock on the Keens, I'm just hard on boots).

I wore out two pairs of Keens. One year each. Blown stitching, Worn out soles, blown out heels...name it.

Toward the end of the first pair, I was doing some PT for lower back issues. The therapist looks at my shoes and asks how old they were (literally falling apart). I said nine months. She pointed at hers and said mine are 10 years old (they still look new). Went to the shop where I bought them. Talked to the lady I bought them from. Said I didn't want a refund or any money, just wanted her to know. Showed her the shoes and she didn't believe me.

All that said, I don't get Ariat boot styling. Guess I'm from a different boot era.

My Grandfather was a rancher. All his boots were custom made at L. White Bootmaker. I remember eight pair of boots in his closet, Sunday-go-to-meeting to stomp in the cow $heit. All were the same cut, style and color.

I'd like to stop in and see if they still had his boot patterns.

That's the place she got it from actually. Great bunch of guys and I was amazed at how much they had in the way of pellets & accessories.

Do you have the blue sensor or the yellow one? I think I read some had problems with the yellow one and switched to the blue one and all their issues were fixed. Then again, if you're just talking about the constant annoying beeping it makes when it senses low pellets then that's just the way it's supposed to work. lol

Colorado does have some very strict rules on raffles including licensing.

I've read that about the right side and it looks like I got the newer stainless box but not the newest with the four notches in the bottom to allow it to be offset. Not sure if I'll just try to run it as is, notch that box myself or contact GMG for the newest versions. I was hoping to do a trial run on a Boston Butt tomorrow and get a little seasoning and a feel for the smoker before the Super Bowl the following weekend. If I have to add new parts it will likely 1) not even be here in time and 2) I won't be able to do a trial beforehand. Whatevs. I'll probably just wait until after the Super Bowl to handle all of that. I've heard nothing but good things about the GMG customer service so I'm very happy with my new acquisition.

I have also heard good things about CookingPellets.com and you can even get them from Amazon which we have a Prime account. I already got the cover and the thermal blanket. The authorized dealer where I got my smoker from (The Water Shed) has a very wide selection of accessories and pellets but they were out of stock on the thermal blankets. I shopped around a bit and remembered that the Ace Hardware on Harmony carried GMG smokers and items. I called and not only did they have the thermal blankets in stock but they had one that one of the employees accidentally cut during unboxing. He said it was about a $10-$15 discount and he couldn't remember which. I was interested in seeing it even with that discount amount. He said that they repaired it with super glue he had the same smoker and the cut wouldn't bother him at all. When I arrived I was happy to see that 1) the repair job was done pretty well and looked like it would hold long-term and 2) it was on the back panel so even if I wanted to put a strip of duct tape over to further protect the repair from the elements you wouldn't even be able to see it if I put it against the house where my current smoker sits. Here's the kicker: they discounted it to $45! Needless to say I'm pretty stoked about that acquisition.

I'm stoked to get this puppy burned in and seasoned. Last night I threw a Papa Murphy's thin crust Tuscan Chicken & Sausage pizza on the bottom rack and had an epiphone... I could throw that sucker on the GMG and get a nice smokey note to it too! There's several things like that, burgers, pork chops, etc. that I wasn't able to do with my electric smoker that I'm excited to try out on this bad boy. Hell, I may sell our six-burner NG grill before this summer is over once I see what all the GMG is capable of first-hand.

w00t!

So..What's your impression of Dave? the owner of the WS. He's clearly not a SJW, entitlement kind of guy.

Just wait, pizza is easy to do. Once you get the hang of it, cook times, how long to smoke before cooking etc, you'll really go to town.
Our smoker saw more use last year than the stove did. I do a mesquite, apple, hickory blend, using 4 cups of Hickory/apple to 1 cup mesquite that's fantastic (of course it is) .Nice mellow flavor without that over powering bitter taste mesquite can give.

For the adventurous, which seems like everyone here. Start dry aging your steaks before smoking. A good 4-5 day prep really kicks it up a notch.

If the tape comes off that blanket. Throw some duct tape, the foil kind, on it.
