Total Bandit!!! Not the MoST recent purchase, but I paid TOP dollar from a breeder for a 2mo old male puppy (under pressure from my wife and three girls to get a puppy, of course)
Steals panties, socks, slippers, destroyed a pair of glasses...Our 8 month old doodle is a handful.
If someone knows a trainer who does not charge an arm and a leg let me know.
I have had a couple of German Shepards and a female Boxer who I trained muself with NO problem, but this guy is ahandful...cute on pictures though

You may have missed it, but I bought (ordered) a 2020 in Jan and sold my 5.9 in March.

Yeah, but who doesn't steal some of those things occasionally, amirite?
He does look like a handful...but he's also got one of those faces that you just can't help but love.

Sometimes, that precious face is the sole means of their survival.
...when they're being destructive little puppy bastards. [Coffee]
Ours is gradually getting into maturity, but it seems like it takes forever. They can really try your patience sometimes. The precious face reminds you of what you want the puppy to grow into as things progress.

You probably already know this, but for the record...
IMMEDIATELY after punishing them for chewing up whatever they're not supposed to be chewing, give them a chew toy and praise/love 'em up over the top. It's hard for a human to flip from punishment to praise immediately, but that's what's required.*
If you've got a chewer, have LOTS of chew toys around. For each new chew toy introduced into the household, put it in their mouth and [again] praise them over the top. This does two things, associates good things with the new chew toy and gets their scent (saliva) on it.
As for your suggestion for a trainer, here in the 'springs I recommend: CoolK9s (https://www.coolk9s.com/)

https://www.johnnyego.com/wood/tools/handtools/badaxe04.JPG
Pictures do not do them justice. This is a true niche product, and most folks would look at the price tag and walk away. However, I plan to use the hell out of them and then pass them down to my son some day. The handles are maple, and the sawbacks have been traditionally blued. I second guessed myself about 15 times on the combination of handle material, hardware, and sawback finish, but I am glad I stuck with this combo. These are not the most expensive tools I own, but they may be the most beautiful.
Picked up a Yugo M70 on Saturday.

Rebuilt my hot rod MS200T arborist saw that I bought about 25 years ago. I love this little saw. It has a 14 inch bar and I've used it every year to do major cuts on several thousand fruit trees and for limbing large spruce and fir in the mountains. I've taken good care of it but it was time for a new piston/cylinder and more. The MS200T is lightweight, well balanced and powerful running 10,500 rpm. These haven't been made for many years but are in high demand by experienced tree climbers. Mine is in exceptional condition and could readily bring $1200-$1500. Worth rebuilding, I'll never sell it.
I have 3 other chain saws but use a Stihl 036 PRO the most. It's a powerful professional saw with a 20 inch bar and can handle anything in our forest. It's 18 years old and has been rebuilt once.

I have a big Stihl MS 362 that I don't like nearly as much as my little 029 Farm Boss. I found that saw in the barn when we bought our Bailey house in 2002. I cleaned it off and put some fuel in it and it started after a couple of pulls. It looked pretty well used when I found it 18 years ago and I used it for 4 or 5 cords a year (in combo with the other saw) from 2002 to 2015. It still runs just great.

Ha! I knew that was coming. I learned to never loan out my chainsaws but if a friend ever needs a tree cut I'm willing to help.

Yes, I've always like the handling of the Husqvarnas better. Both of mine need work now though. Funny thing, the one time I let someone else use my husky arborist saw he somehow got the wild hair to turn a nut centered in the clutch and broke the end of the crankshaft off.

Got my gun back from Sig and then put the Wilson Combat grips on. I really like it. I have short, fat fingers, so the smaller profile suits me well, and I really like the bevelled mag well, trigger guard cut and beavertail. Props to Sig too. It was a Red Box (factory reconditioned). The whole service took a week from shipment to receipt. They must have worked it and reshipped it the day they got it. They also shot a full box of HST through it to confirm it was working - sent me the box flap as evidence.

Um yea, got that covered. It's a work/play trip for me and the topic came up on first contact with the account exec and client.
It's a big deal and you now have to upload neg results to an app/site before you can even board the final leg to show your own private QR code (when do the implants start?) or you are 14 day mandatory quarantine. I don't think any of the carriers are even allowing you to board without it.

It sticks just fine. You have to blast the surface and clean it really well, but it will adhere and look quite nice.
You can also look at Alumahyde. If you want to try Alumahyde, I have several cans of it (I'll check what colors).

Basic color anodizing is pretty easy. Paired with a decent clear coat it looks good and lasts quite well.
Type 3 hard anodizing is a PITA.

Thanks man. I'm coming from a GMG DB WiFi that served me well for years. I debated an RT-700 but I just couldn't justify the size as I don't really need the need the square footage. This is a significant upgrade from the GMG if it cooks half as good as it's built. Assembling it I was able to get up close and personal and this thing is a tank! I've always been a fan of Nikon cameras...until I bought a P610. The zoom is awesome, but the AF sucks. Read/watched great reviews of the Panasonic Lumix FZ1000. It was first introduced about 6 years ago and still receives great reviews. Black Friday special on Amazon and I couldn't resist.
I'm anxious to take it out and play with it. The camera... But gotta wait for the batteries to charge. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm sure there will be some great prairie opportunities. Maybe some whitetail rutting.

Nice. Dad and kid Rugers. Would interested in a reliability report down the road.
I was only able to put 40 rounds thru the 57 because I only have two boxes of ammo. But it functioned perfectly and seemed to be extremely accurate though I didn't get to put anything on paper. It shoots right to point of aim out to at least 40 yards. Grapefruit sized rocks at roughly 40 yards were easy...put the front sight on a 6 o'clock hold and pull the trigger. The trigger bites my finger just a little on this one...right at the bottom. It seems to pinch the trigger finger between the bottom of the trigger and the trigger guard. It's not bad...just slightly annoying. I have to make a conscious decision to place my finger slightly higher on the trigger guard than what comes natural. I can see where this would be an outstanding gun for home protection. It's really big, even though it is light, so I don't see carrying this one. But for the house? Yeah...I think it would be a great choice.
I put about 120 rounds thru the little LCP II, various types. CCI Quiet was the only thing it had issues with...wouldn't cycle enough to eject. But that's hardly a surprise. It ran really well with Mini-Mags and PMC Sidewinders. Only complaint is it only comes with one mag and extras are kinda pricey. I can see this being an occasional carry gun in the summer when I need something really small and light. I really like this one.

I've never fired an FN so I don't know. The Ruger seems pretty straightforward to me. The only difference from any other handgun I noticed was the mags load like rifle mags instead of handgun mags. The mag release is a little awkward for me, too. The grip is fairly long from front to back and I don't have big hands. When I adjust my grip to release the mag the heel of my hand often interferes with magazine ejection. But...I've not shot it near enough to get really comfortable with the quirks of this gun.
I'm not much of a Ruger handgun fan... But I really like these two.
Neither my 10/22, or my Mark IV will cycle CCI Quiets. Supposedly there is a semi-auto version of the quiets out there, but I can't even find the most basic version usually so I've never seen them.

I was cleaning out my truck the other day and decided to try play with a semi-retired GPS hardware.
The battery would last about 20 seconds and was a not playing nice when I tried to update the maps.
I swapped computers and managed to verify the hardware was fine, and did accept the software/map
upgrades. The problem with the s/w updates was traced to the weak battery not surviving thru the boot
process.
In today's world the GPS DriveSmart 50 is cheap. However, not as cheap as a 30(ish) dollar battery. I found
a kit with replacement battery (2x more 'power') with some cheap tools. I decided to hit IfixIt dot com to
buy a quality Torx T4 screw driver to complete the work. I figure the real cost of the battery is about 4 dollars
if you can find the right one with the right connectors.
As expected, the included T4 driver with the kit was crap, but the Ifixit version was perfect. About 15 mins of
looking at the video and messing with the hardware got the new battery installed and the hardware working perfect. The
online version of the how to guide is not complete; however, the included version shows every thing you need to know.
Riddle me this, just how many people still have a computer with a cd/dvd/blu ray drive? I know my new hardware does not
have it built it. However; I did pick up a nice external drive when I need to access 'old tech'.

I replaced a 500 lumen Surefire Fury with a 1400 Lumen Surefire Scout M600DF on the .300 BLK. It conforms this rifle to the same lighting and optics as my 5.56 rifle.
Another plus is that I gained another Surefire Fury handheld light.

We got our socialist voter stimulus checks today and chose another chair for the home office. Knoll Generation. We liked the first chair enough to get a second one The first was a .gov Cares Act procurement for the home office. This one's on our dime, kinda, as .gov payouts are. Sorta like food stamps but like Social Security we have to pay tax on the "free" government income. [It's a scam!] Still better for us than buying drugs and we don't need more guns and ammo. This one ate both our stimulus checks. Joe and The Donald should both be proud. If only we could have gotten a whole $2000 each? Shoot, we may have to start voting democrat.
Awesome chair btw. You get what you pay for. Pay up front for good furniture that promotes good posture or pay later when your body's all messed up.

Does a damn good job on a machete too.
I can see where a tanto would be tricky. Fortunately I don?t have one.
I did a few of the kitchen knives first because they needed it and I could practice. I did a couple of my smaller folders that were already sharp so they didn?t need much. Then I broke out my ZT 0350. That sucker is hard to sharpen. Pertly because of the steel and partly because of the recurve edge or whatever you call it. It?s good as (or better than) new now.
So far I haven?t rounded any tips on anything silly like that.

I’d really like to have at least a rear air locker but that will be a ways down the road. I don’t plan on doing any major wheeling but this hopefully
will get me most places.
You can probably find a factory Toyota e-locker for a reasonable price. Having just the rear locker makes a huge difference, and having a selectable makes it safe for your wife to drive.

Upgrading from 16?s to 17?s and I scored all 5 tires for $300 from a buddy. Whole package was cheaper than if I had just bought 4 new tires. Also not pictured are the Left/Right Inner/Outer tie rods set to go in soon. Looks like I?m on a similar path as South Paw, except I?ve got the rear E-Locker squared away [emoji13] (and it?s a Nissan).

17’s is the way to go. I was going to stick to 16’s to have more sidewall but I was really attracted to the 33x10.50 size.

I've been looking for one of those did you happen to buy locally?
Colorado Springs Guns and Ammo.
They had two left as of yesterday.

Agreed. My buddy helped convince me to move up to 17's, as he pointed out that no new trucks come with 16's anymore, so any used tires you see on Craigslist are likely to be ten years old. I switched and fell immediately into a good deal on five 33s.

I've been wanting to bump up to 17's for awhile, I'm also a huge fan of the 33x10.50 size, but can think of only 5 or so types of tires that offer a 255/85-16 and they typically come with an E rating, so 285's are about the only option (also an E rating). I'll be getting these mounted tomorrow.

Had to put down a 21 year old. Got these 2 a week later.
Not realy a dog person, and i live in an appartment. I never thought it would be good to keep a dog locked in an appartment while at work.
Very good for you to have cared for a cat that lived so long. I had a Siamese that lived to 21. Also, good decision to get two cats, they should always come in pairs and will live a happier life.

Top is a PSA GF5 that I got from PSA directly.
Bottom is a ZPAPM70 that I got from https://dld-vip.com/.
The PSA’s usually are in stock once or twice a week but sell out fast. The M70 was pretty elusive. I signed up for email notifications every where that offered them which are pretty useless as often times they don’t work or they notify 3-4 hours after they are in stock. I just started checking website randomly throughout the day and finally got lucky finding one in stock.

Haha, so this came together through a good friend-retired NYPD that sold it to a retired FDNY guy-now we're like three brothers (I grew up in NJ but thankfully my parents moved us away when I was 12). The deal is they get first right of refusal IF I ever sell. I think this one is staying and will eventually go to one of my sons.

50 rounds fired at 5, 7, 10 and 15 yards turning to face me for 2 seconds at 5 & 7, 3 at 10 and 15:

I have one of those top-of-the-line Kitchenaid dishwashers just waiting to be installed. Can't get the old one out without taking the countertops off because of how some knucklehead put in a new floor. Because who would've ever thought a 25 year old dishwasher would ever need to be replaced, right?
Can you adjust the front legs to give you some room?
Bailey Guns

I've already done that. They built up the floor too high. Only option is to go in there with a sawzall... But then I still wouldn't be able to get the new one in. I'm going to get new countertops soon anyway. I'll just have to wait.
Not partial to Kitchenaud brand after the dishwasher tried to set my kitchen on fire. The attitude of their rep explaining to me that too bad so sad was another thing entirely.

Considering I set my house on fire with a can of varnish, the dishwasher taking a shot at it wouldn't surprise me.

What kind of tops and backsplash do you have? Common problem, not an easy fix though.

Can you adjust the front legs to give you some room?Major reason to lay floor wall to wall when remodel. Cheaper to pay me to pull tops and base cabs during remodel than pull plumbing and tops in finished kitchen 6 months or two years later.

I still stand by only going wall to wall with real oak flooring that can be patched in. A have a fridge leak that warps laminate across the room, then have to pull all the cabinets just to replace $200 worth of floor? No thanks.

I dont recommend laminate flooring in areas prone to water exposure.

COVID has also been responsible for reduced shipping capabilities. I had some things on order from outside the US that took ages to get and that was a big part of why.
Cool watch!
250 rounds of American Eagle .45 230gr fmj, $163 shipped direct from Federal, now they're limiting orders to only 2 boxes per. Took 7 days from order to delivery.

Thanks man! The backstory is that there were a whole bunch of mammoth tusks uncovered in a Siberian cobalt mine. Over a couple thousand years or so, some of it was absorbed and/or reacted to the tusks to produce the greens and blues. I am a sucker for a good backstory.
