Found me a good deal today. The DRZ is gone and in with the new. 2012 WR450F Fuel Injected. Now to uncork it and get it ready for a title.
Unfortunately I didn't notice it before i got it, but the original owner must have dropped it pretty hard. Ended up bending the hell out of the left radiator. Ill have to work on a new one or find a fix for this one. Good thing, there are no leaks.
That is a bummer! Looks like a clean bike otherwise! Street-tard! I have always wanted one for on the street but they look they would be too much fun and come with a handful of tickets.

I'm pretty sure a sport bike will kill you at some point, especially if you push it. A motard will just get you arrested.. Lol stairs are a blast, the whole city is like a giant "big kid" playground.

When it came to street bikes, I finally realized I wasn't responsible enough to own them. This was after 9 different bikes, 4 years of riding, and a stack of tickets. In all those years, I could never figure out how to keep the front wheel on the ground. Sure do miss them at times.

Not quite that much, but yeah, a lotta freaking cash. List price would make it $19,500 ($3250 each since they have the MSR reticle), but you can get them for less, especially when you are talking about 6 of them with scope vendors...

What size/brand lift do you have on your Taco?
6" Fabtech kit. I did the shackle reversal on the rear shackles and that gave another .5-.75" of lift in the rear but supposed to increase wheel drop dramatically.

Guy said he bought it, crashed avoiding a semi and then carted it with him for 8 years thinking he would fix it and ride again. Then decided he actually was a little scared to get back on, and his wife apparently didn't want him riding anymore, so he posted it on cl. I picked it up for less than $2k.

No sir. I got a full set of pink & stealth gray Magpul furniture along with some other parts from a vendor as shown in my picture on the previous page. I wasn't aware anyone here was selling them but I had to order a lot of stuff so I just got it all at once. I ended up needing to place a 2nd order a few days later for everything I forgot or realized I needed that I didn't get in that order too. Now that that order is scheduled to be delivered today I realized I need a few more items so likely a 3rd order is in the works. lol

I need to find a couple new batteries (looks like only the defib side holds a charge) and some electrode ends/suction pads for the ekg side (might try to find original suction cup ones) and the original TM if they released one with it. Figured for a hundred bucks it is a cool piece of militaria that might come in handy in a bind. Good gawd is it heavy compared to more modern portable units LOL. (I am thinking of the little AED units, might not be a fair comparison I guess)

I have gained 19lbs since I started and lost 2-3 inches off my waist. I'm only 195lbs right now but I train 5-6 days a week for 2-3 hours. To get big you; gotta eat big.

Raven Concealment Systems sent me a pretty cool product of theirs today called the TopStop....it basically seals off your upper receiver to keep any dust, dirt, or whatever out.....If you're like me who transports your AR firearm in a carry bag and need to have your upper and lowers separated, this is great....it just snaps in place.

The only problem I don't like about that one is that it requires those pins to hold it in place. I would think that the pins can easily be misplaced.....With the one from Raven Concealment, it just snaps in place, no need for pins to hold it in and stays on tight. It takes me a bit of force to pull it off the upper......Either way, great idea for like if someone were to have maybe one lower and multiple uppers or who transports the upper and lower separate like I do.

Not very big, but a good selection of arms. Expected a few more accessories and ammo, but not a bad shop for a town the size of Hays. Friendly staff.

If you haven't had a burger from Kenosha Cafe (on the west side of US 285 in Grant) you're missing out on quite possibly the best burger in Colorado. HUGE hand shaped pattie, Brioche bun, whatever fixins and cheese you choose, cooked the way you like it:

I believe that Black Dog Machine are the manufacturers of the 'JB style'. I have several of the them for around the shop. They are handy when working on a lower with the upper leaned against the wall. I hate it when I'm handling an upper and I hear the sound of a bolt going clunk as it hits the floor. I have drilled a couple holes in the covers to hold the pins when not in use.
The $10 looks like it might be better for field use. Looks like a better seal and no pins. I might pick up one or two.

I'd be interested in some pictures and details as well. GM 1500 series trucks have always had a stupid rake from the factory. Even with a 3'' lift, they sit about as high as a stock F-150.
This was my '05 with a full leveling kit from Rough Country. Torsion keys up front and block for the rear. Tires are 285/70/17. I am thinking about getting the full leveling kit for 2008 1500.

I got it mounted in the truck this weekend. That pig is heavy! It would easily crush a skull.
The Chevys definitely sit low. Even my 2008 3/4 ton looks like a two wheel drive compared to my old F250.
Both probably sit higher than my 2010 Dodge. Even though it's a 4x4 it sits pretty low. Probably because it's a half ton "sport" package.
For breakfast, not really purchased by me, the gals at work bought me one for our meeting this morning knowing I LOVE bacon anything. I think for some reason they thought I wouldn't eat it, women?

Not sure where they got the donuts this morning, the Director snagged them on the way in. Will have to ask her Monday.
I liked this one better as easier to eat, instead of strips they were cut so every bite had the sweetness combined with the salty taste of PORK.

Pics below are the 22" DTA vs my recently sold 20" R700 in an AX. (The owner of my old R700 came over to have me help mount their new SWFA SS scope.)
Perspective doesn't really show it, but the 22" DTA with an extra 2" on the barrel and a 9" suppressor is actually about 1" shorter total length than the 20" R700 in the AX chassis no suppressor.

Yup, they are proud of them. I had to sell off a good few high dollar items to get it, and then they make you buy in pieces and build the whole damn thing.... when you buy the 'gun' all you get is the chassis and action. Then you have to buy the 'caliber kit' that has the barrel, bolt and magazine. Still WAY WAY cheaper than the AI PSR, which until recently was the only changeable caliber high precision rifle.
Shot it today... oh man.... I am happy. Well worth getting rid of a few of my other prized possessions, parting with them hurt a bit.

Did you replace or plastidip it? I could have wrapped the chrome with some black vinyl, thats what I did with mine and its still going strong, 4 years. Cheaper than buying a new one.

Is this good ammo? I mostly picked it up because I was interested in trying something new in my .22s.
