The top rifle is a Rifle, Model of 1917 i bought in 1997. I have been looking for the companion Enfield Rifle No. 3 Pattern 1914 ever since then. Today I found one and didn't hesitate to buy it. It is the lower rifle in the picture. The only other P14s I have seen were either pristine megabuck collectors rifle or deactivated practice guns.

$200 for x-rays, and $900 more for surgery on a cat that our daughter basically rescued out of a dumpster.

Here is a picture of our $1,100 dumpster cat. Dumbass puts everything in its mouth. According to the vet, it appears that the banding around a piece of bologna is what caused the clog and surgery.

Heres what it looks like on the gun:

And here's what it does at 100 yards (10-shot):

Awesome! This is exactly what I've been wanting to do with one of my 308 AR's for a while now. This makes me want to start getting more serous about it!

Edit: I didn't realize that others had already quoted your pics until I got to this page so sorry for quoting several pics multiple times everyone.

This is one of the major selling points of the LMT MWS.... I can undo two bolts and change calibers. If it uses the .308 case, they make a barrel for it: 7mm-08, 338 fed, .243, .260, .6.5 creedmore....

The only 'downside' (if you can call it that) is that they come with a 1/9 twist. With that, I wouldn't feel comfortable pushing the 130-140 gr booolitts very far. The 120 A-Max seem to do fine. (see picture)

Yeah, that's cool and I wish I had bought one instead of the POF that I have. I sold my upper and am trying to find an accurized .260 or 6.5mm Creedmoor upper half that will connect to the POF lower solidly w/o slop. Someone on here was going to meet up with me a while back to see if the MWS would fit my lower solidly but it never materialized. Maybe someday...

I'm waiting for the $99 black friday (online) sale on those. My 14V batts are dead.

I did that (bought a new driver) the last time I went looking for batteries for my DeWalt bendy screwdriver. Toolking had a brand new kit for less than the cost of a new battery.

Koi on the kalf. That one on the young misses wall?

That taken right after it was done, or today? if thats the most current pic, you have WAY TOO much lotion on it. VERY Light film. If you can see it you're smothering the skin.

It ain't done yet... still thinking of how to end the cycle into a Chinese Dragon... to much lotion it was... it's a lot better now.. now I wait for the swelling to go down which gives me time to think about the other half that needs to be done to it.

Those are the previous generation which can tend to lose connection between the base and the remote unit. If you experience this it's common so don't lose sleep trying to 'fix' it. I may have a lightly used ET-732 for sale at some point soon so I'll let you know if I sell it.

Windham Weaponry "MPC" Upper/ BCG. 16" 1-9 twist.
Spikes Tactical lower. Stock trigger/ buffer. Magpul B.A.D lever/ trigger guard.
Troy (drop in) hand guard with Magpul angled foregrip. Magpul rail covers.
Command Arms(CAA)bipod. Very hard to find in stock in the U.S., made in Israel.
Leupold 2-7 VX2 scope with Leupold AR mount. Doesn't co-wittness the front iron sight.
Extended ambi charging handle. Not sure of brand name.
Will probably get a fold down Magpul rear BUIS and throw a single point sling on it and call it complete.

That's a good question. I think the AR15 still has the edge but that gap grows smaller and smaller by the day. Perhaps before I own it too much longer it could be my go-to rifle for SHTF but at this point I'm not quite sure I'm ready to go to that status with it. Now, if it were closer than an AR15 and time were a concern I would be quite content with using it in that role and before too much longer it may just become my go-to rifle. The balance and compactness for having a 16" barrel still is SO nice. My HD rifle is probably my 9" 300 Blackout running 220gr suppressed but this sucked is a few inches shorter overall than even than. Balances a lot better with a suppressor hanging out over the end and not to mention with those big 40rd Pmags in that pic too. The Tavor just has an awful lot going for it.

I picked up a S&W 22a-1 pistol on Saturday evening for $152 + $10bgc fee... from Cabela's if you can believe it. I was very surprised to see it, as I was not previously familiar, and intended to get a Ruger MarkII/III or Browning Buckmark style .22lr, which would have been twice the price. It will be used almost exclusively for training new shooters, assuming it's reliable enough. I should be able to get out and shoot it this coming weekend. Anyone have any experience with this model before?

Mine took a while to break in (lots of stovepipes, feed jams), then it was fine. It's been a fun shooter, and nicely dependable since. Had several mis-fires last range trip (primer struck, no ignition), but was able to attribute that to the ammo.
I'd buy another, without hesitation at that price.

Only potential drawback as a training piece might be bulkiness of grip, for smaller hands, and mag release location (just because it's slightly different than most).
Pros: Weight makes it easy on recoil, without feeling heavy, and slides on these are generally pretty easy to manipulate.

I appreciate your reply crays. I had my suspicions that it might have ftf/fte issues, but i'll take it apart and polish the ramp, square the extractor, etc.. it is extremely lightly used, so i imagine the first owner just got fed up with it before the break-in period was met... I'll shoot some mini mags through it too help it along too ;). For the price, I was ok with spending an hour or two tuning it up before using it anyways. I agree 100% with your pros, and can accept the drawbacks you mention as well.

Glad I could offer up some useful info.
I know mine had me pretty frustrated at first, and it sat at the back of the closet for while.
Ironically, I must have put it away right as it was becoming a shooter, because when I finally got around to pulling it back out, and giving it a good cleaning, it's been reliable since.
Go figure...
Happy Shooting and congrats on a good score!

My wife got the opportunity to film a Walmart commercial and she had to shop for $250 worth of stuff at King Soopers, then do it all again at Walmart to see how much she saved. She got to keep all the stuff she bought at Kings. This is the second time she's been able to do this. This time she beat the other lady in savings and got to shoot the commercial and pose for the flyer. So she came home with this stuff (turns out they forgot some of her items though). At the end they gave her another $250 gift certificate for Walmart.

I cant speak on the "magholder" (which I may have to look into), but I've had good luck with horizontal carry at around the 7-730 ish position, zero printing for me there. Of course you'd need to train for that, as it's kind of an unconventional way to carry.

I've got a gut so it's not a problem for me. I could see it being an issue for guys that wear tighter fitting clothing.

It's very well made. Retention is good but after a few cycles, the mag comes out easily when you want it to. Definitely worth the money.
