And I'll be the first to say that the Great Lakes beaches are NOT ocean beaches. I lived on the California coast for a year, and the ocean has very different dynamics. That being said, fresh water is more fun for watersports and swimming.

I've got them in 9mm, .38spl, .40s&w, .45acp and .223rem and so far I have no complaints. They get the job done and the pistol dies don't require lube, though its a little easier to size the 38spl and 45acp if they're lightly lubed.

The .40s&w set was the first ones I owned. They are machined well and are very consistent in everything they do. Most of the time, I get the OAL of my .40's within +/- 0.002 of each other and thats with the factory crimp die. I've loaded up my first 35 rounds of 223, but haven't been to the range yet to test them out, but again, they are all very consistent. Supposedly the lee rifle dies are designed to use the decrimping rod as a stuck case extraction tool, but I haven't had one of those yet and I've run about 1k cases through the die.

And yes, the price was a big selling point for me too. I haven't had any problems with any of my Lee stuff, so I keep buying it. If I start running into problems or QA/QC issues, I might consider branching out. But I absolutely LOVE the breech lock lock ring eliminators. The quick-disconnect works amazingly well once you get the dies dialed in and they hold their settings no matter how many times you remove/install them. Makes swapping between dies or calibers take less than 10 seconds.

Thanks, I'm pretty much sold on trying a set at least in the 40S&W. I'm reloading in fairly low quantities and won't have to worry about wearing out a die set for a long while... But they are only $30 so I'm thinking WTH i'll get a set of 223 as well.

3 months ago I pulled some cash out of my Roth and bought my wife and I MacBook Pro 16gb. It is awesome! Haven't had one since they left the g4 and went to the intel based processors. Worth every dime, and if you buy it at best buy you can get an accidental damage warranty that is a direct replacement.

Work was good, just need to go back have a few high points shaved down. Top molar is hitting the high points of the crown, causing me to drink more beer.
