This new place is 5 minutes from work, room for the pool table, I can mow the entire property in 15 minutes, deep/wide two car garage, enough room for the ambulance in the back yard and probably the small enclosed trailer (backing skills required for that..lol) and all the basics are really close. Dining, grocery, nightlife, etc. all within a 10 minute drive.

ETA...and now my Firebird will be less of a garage queen because I can actually drive it somewhere without getting bugs and shit all over it every time I take it out....lol.

Parts of central California, especially around San Fran (but not within about 50 miles of it), are really conservative. It's kind of a shame really. They got screwed.

I did a run through of my new place today to see to the repairs that were supposed to be done, and things look good.......I'll close tomorrow and get the keys on the first of July.

If anyone had paid for it to be delivered, the rock and the labor would have been a couple grand I bet. She got this huge pile of mixed rock for $100. We just have to move it....my back is strained and there's probably 7 or 8 more yards of it to move. Big stuff too.

I remember working for ADM landscaping and we had to haul rock from a drive way, down a hill into a back yard, dump, then spread. I must have maid 20+ wheel barrel trips. Take 600mg motrin, a glass of water, and 2 beers once you are done.

It started to hail up here, but only pea size, which won't damage a house. I stood in my driveway until it stopped, then mowed my lawn.
Next I went on a run, got lost, and found that I had run back to the center point of my run before I figured out where I was. So instead of running a 5k (3.1 mi), I ran a 7.35k (4.5 mi). Talk about making my first run in months more brutal than it needed to be. I felt like Bugs Bunny because when I got to the street I wanted, I turned right instead of left.

I came home to some weird stuff. I hear music BLARING, and it sounds kind of Middle Eastern, but I can't tell. About 30-45 minutes later I go outside again and can hear a guy yelling, like he is addressing a crowd of people (I think). It's weird because the direction from which all this is coming from is generally very quiet, and not at all fitting the description. However, it's possible that there is some event at the church one street over. I'd go check it out, but I'm beat and am going to go take a nap instead.

Also don't have a trailer that would accommodate a bobcat type of load. Had to go the hard route...that's the wifes little trailer in the pic, I was using my 6x10 enclosed behind the ambulance. Six of those rocks I couldn't pick up, had to use a dolly. There's only about 20 more of them to move, get em sometime next week I suppose.

I was out on a friend's land way out by Victor and we were stalking the chipmunks with .22s because the dang things were burrowing holes in the dam... My .22 magazine ran dry so I decided to go for it with my glock. Nailed it. We found bits and pieces of the upper half and most of the lower half fell back down its hole.

So I finally got a proper mount for my RMR, but I don't have the upper I want to mount it on yet, so I mounted it on my 10/22. Thing is awesome. Bench looks like dick. Wouldn't have looked much better if I was sober though, considering the wood I used. The last two boards took me two hours to put on because I was drinking. I ruined like 7-8 Phillips head bits in a row before I realized that my pilot holes were not large enough (even though MOST of the other screws had no problems). Hillman brand pocket screws suck balls. Broke four of them in the bench. Had to turn my drill way down to avoid it, and I've NEVER had to do that before, with ANY screw.

I had two RHEL5 servers in a data center last week on full retard for 2.5 days. I was one with the suck. I HAD to get these things going OR ELSE and it was right down to the wire. Damn shitty IBM Tivoli software installs kept blowing up.

Then we get this >< close to finish setting up the SAN encryption the servers were for and figure out something is not working because the guy driving was doing some stuff on one server, and some stuff on 'tother. Ran out of time so now I have to finish up on Monday when I'm already booked for a client DR test for Mon-Wed.

Awesome, thanks! I'm starting to feel like its a finalized design, at least about 95% of the way there. It's all right angle straight cuts, so it should be relatively easy to cut out the foam. And since its closed cell polyethylene foam, it's much more rigid and I can just poke it with a knife.
