I parked my 8 year-old in front of a haircut video on YouTube. She took some notes and I let her have at it on my hair. She did a pretty good job considering there was no conversion about hair cutting techniques, and she's never done anything like that before. I got told to take her to get her hair cut today, so I had them clean up my hair while we were there. The lady basically gave my daughter a free lesson in how to cut men's hair as well. We'll see if she wants to do it again next month.

It'd be cool if she just got better and better until I didn't have to go in and get it cleaned up anymore. Then I could just pay my own kid instead of someone else.

Our day was going ok till dinner. The the fuckin hostess for some reason insisted our "reservation" was not showing. Were we sure we not only had one, BUT..........the table were asked for was OCCUPIED!

Good cleaning of area with baking soda OR COCA-COLA to neutralize and residual acid. I'd wrap it in a few plastic bags then discard.

Lighter by the cost of 5 new BFG's and one big toenail. Not my favorite tire but you gotta do what ya gotta do in a pinch.

I was kind partial to the toenail. It was only ripped 3/4" off so it will be a while before it dies and falls off I guess.

Tip - do not change big tires on the side of the road in open tow sandals.

Shredded the $600 boat cover.

Friend's mega fiver took four new tires, and their fridge took a crap second day in.

At least the boat ran good and we had great fun for three days on the lake.

Now off to bed (finally) to nurse that toe and get up early for a flight to go see the family.

Was mildly productive today. Changed the spark plugs on my van, which required removing the intake manifold. Not nearly as big of a deal as I thought once I had it all figured out. Glad the neighbor came over to BS and be a second set of eyes.
Also did some sewing and got new straps so I can rock both ladders at the same time. I've got a 200+ mile day tomorrow, so we'll see how it goes.
Next is the door locks and a new sunshade for my windshield. Stores sell the same size wind screens but windshields have grown 50% in size over the last 20 years.

Not weird at all. It's how probably how 80% of roofs get bought in Colorado. During the Highlands Ranch storm, people were having roofers knock on doors WHILE it was hailing. Now that everyone is here from the Highlands Ranch storm, then the Castle Rock storm, and the Greeley storm, it's not surprising that they showed up so fast. How big was the hail by the way? Another storm would be nice, even if it is in Colorado Springs.
