Making a big Dutch pot of Zuppa Toscana tonight, one of my favorite soups. This is with Moose Italian Sausage, bacon, onion, garlic, chicken broth and kale. The Tuscan soup is a close copy from the Olive Garden.
In the fall we'll make the recipe, vacuum pack and freeze it for quick meals in hunting camp. Different gourmet dishes all through elk season.
Gators bitches better be wearing jimmies, gator dont play that shit.
That scene came to mind as I was reading through this. Well played.

I learned something new today. Just did a search.
Hope that search history will not do targeted ad.
I wish I could find a meme I saw once specific to this... it was a picture of the product & then a caption that said (paraphrased)
"My dad doesn't know I found & used his kiss practicer."
Pho King millennials.
Trying to watch some YouTube videos with vehicle reviews in an attempt to narrow down options for my wife?s next vehicle and I can?t get through an entire review before any of these kids lose credibility.
So, you?d pick this one over that one because of the location of the USB ports?
Or this is the better vehicle because you think the exhaust tips look better?
The black badges, roof rack, and 20? wheels make it a top pick in its class?
I need to see some old geezer reviews. You know, where they actually discuss how the vehicle rides, drives, handles and performs.
Or maybe I should just buy something with well placed USB ports and a cool roof rack so it will be easier to sell to some stupid millennial down the road.
I’m an early generation millennial and I buy based on mechanical longevity, primarily. Which means I buy Japanese. I don’t care about USB ports, etc. I want the best MPG I can get for performance and mechanical longevity combined with interior space. Pursuant to that, we have a 2000 LX470 and a 2016 Odyssey. :)

Good news!
google is NOT putting that thing on recommended search.
I did a Toyota Search on September, and I am STILL getting flooded with ToYota targeted ad even 5mo from now.
They're setting you up for a surprise later, after you forget having searched for it.

It's waiting until it hears family members are visiting and around the computer for sure.
The google AI has advanced into extortion schemes.
Maybe I should start using AltaVista, Lycos, excite, or aol.
(If they still exist).
My favorite is ads about products that I already bought months ago. Or when I have to look up products that have been damaged by hail for a claim I'm writing, so I get ads about grills and patio furniture all summer long.
Big dollar items that you usually buy once every 5+ years (like a refrigerator). Stop feeding me ads for them. I don't need a 6-pack of fridges.
Dear Amazon, I do not collect toilet seats. I got what I needed. Please stop
Emailing me about toilet seat deals just because I bought one once.

I read that as well. I never knew there was such a thing as an"emergency goalie" that was available for both teams. I figured the team would have to suit up a player that had experience playing goalie in high school before moving to another position or something.
I was also thinking that playing goalie is tough on the knees and 42 was a bit seasoned for that.

Woof.
Just had some dry needling done on my shoulder. Slightly different experience than I was expecting. I had heard hurts during, feels better after. I was thinking immediately after, like a massage. It actually hurts much more immediately after. The pain crescendos into a unique symphony of ALL your sore areas at once, at a level above the initial injury. I suspect it will feel a lot better in a few hours though.
I hope it works for you. Didn't really do anything for me.
Already feels way better. Just normal dull pain of general muscle soreness at this point.

Some sort of acupuncture?
Similar, but deeper. Basically jab a needle right into the muscle. The way I understood it is that you are 1) loosening up the tightness of miracles that are healing, and 2) aggravating the muscles to promote more healing. Hardly even notice it now.
The needling may also be accompanied with electric stimulation.

Because Amazon sends an email right after delivery soliciting the review. People are too dumb to realize they don't have to respond. Even worse are the "I don't know" answers to questions. Same twits.
I was looking at some LED light on Amazon, and 4 of the 5 featured answers were the same guy named Chris W bitching about how they weren't water proof, and the company doesn't stand behind the warranty. Even on questions that had nothing to do with being water proof. I submitted a question of "Would these be a good light for a guy named Chris W?" Now I've had a few people responding to that question. Heh.

Man its cold asf in the garage this morning. Trying to get the wood ripped for the wifes desk and figure out if im going to put a skirt on it or not. Doubt ill paint the legs today unfortunately i think its too cold for the rustoleum
Btw planers (electric or hand) are stupid expensive. These boards are 1 3/8" thick and have a little rise when put together so im hoping once I get the dado blade in and put the groove in they will line up right, if not I'm going to have to plain the bitches

There are at least ten aisles with completely empty shelves at my local Safeway, but it has nothing to do with Corona Virus. I took a picture anyway.

That car yes. Ross Tech for the win.
Looking at a different german car, but not an audi. (Unless I can find an A4 with fixed pistons and chains in the low 100k miles for a good price. Or I mid life crisis and get the S8 with the Lambo V10, but that one is for me!)
Been searching for a sub $10k car with under 120k max, awd, traction, side bags and highly safety rated. It feels like I am looking for a unicorn. This is for my daughter so it slso has to be cute...sigh.
The E90 328xi meets most of that criteria. As I do most car work myself, most parts are a wash and the 328 parts are not really worse than toyota oe parts in cost. And many of those cars have made it to 200k+ miles with minimal maintnance.
I talked to my mother in Las Vegas and the bottle water was out of stock.
Too many people there, but it was saturday, and she does not know normal traffic at that costco in weekend.
By looking at the parking lot of majority of stores, looks like it is crazy increase in demand.

Excellent idea. She was driving in the rain when it happened so I?m sure she was using the wipers. There are spots around the damage that feel like razor blades on the outside of the windshield.

FWIW, new glass will help sell it bigtime and will probably increase the value more than the windshield costs--especially if your insurance company buys the glass. Mine does, 100%. Could be a fortuitous rock.
Sad part was that was the original windshield and didn?t have any cracks or chips.
I priced one today and that sucker is $350.
For comparison, a windshield for my truck is $180.
I need to check my insurance coverage and see how or if they cover glass.

Our vehicles get pitted enough to need new windshield glass every 2-2.5 years. With comprehensive Safeco pays 100%, most others pay all but a $50 or $100 deductible. I don't carry comp on my old Toyota plow truck but the windshield only cost $150, worth every penny.

They are charging you more for your policy though, one way or another. If it's still cheaper than other policies, then probably not a big deal.

I did pretty well my first time out to this flavor of match. Really enjoyed the course. Seemed pretty special to me & I wonder just how many places there are like it. Not many I imagine, but I wouldn't know. Makes all the difference when your data is gtg, which mine was golden after my class the previous weekend with Colorado Precision Rifle @ BSR. Brian Whalen really helped me put the bits of info I had together & build up more from there... anyhoo... its Virginia count on the clock so your best guess is the only one you get. Trigger time & good data records are next. Im @ 430 rds on my first bolt gun so Im pretty dang pleased I could shoot 36 points when the match was won with 51 points with only 60 possible. I can do better. Its really hard & it also kind of wasn't -- might be my thing & ill just have to see how it goes.

Yeah, about that... there are quite a few things on my wish list, nothing too extravagant though. 10" Arca rail, shorter atlas bipod, 55" pelican hardcase, accuracy first scope level, Hawkins rings, a pollok shooting mat, a kestrel with ab/link & the largest bulk lot of 6.5cm ammo I can afford in a single purchase.

Oddly the stage that gave me the most trouble was the 400 & under. I missed small so I might have forgot to adjust my parallax because it seems silly for me to miss anything that close in. Or maybe there was something else outside my experience that I didnt recognize, idk. Unfortunately, there's no extra shots allowed on the course, even after its all done, so I might never know for certain. I'll spend the time & rounds to double check my data for those distances later this week just to verify its good. Expect Ill learn something from that too.

No doubt, but Safeco was quite a bit less for better coverage than Allstate and State Farm. Will have to revisit the property insurance though because the little cabin almost doubled beginning later this month. We've caught agents before sneaking in unwarranted rate increases and it always costs them our business.

That's kinda' how I feel about my rapid defensive shooting. I'm not skilled enough to make a smiley, and that probably wouldn't be fun to defend in court. Why put the rounds in the same hole in a defensive shooting? Spread 'em out a little to improve incapacitation and stop the threat. Besides, if they're going in the same hole, you're probably not shooting fast enough. [Coffee]

Wish I could afford a set of ten steel IDPA/IPSC/USPSA targets.
I understand. Me too.

I could spend all day running El Pres and Mozambique drills on steel.

I like the challenge of precision rifle and really like long range shooting but run and gun is still the most fun.

Scheduling is hit/miss, if I plan ahead early enough to get signed up either weather cancels match or emergency at work cancels me, otherwise matches fill up.
Not really planning any pistol matches this year. Probably gonna shoot NRL for rimfire and see if can just show up at rifle matches and hope for open slots.
