Picked up my replacement Sig 716 yesterday, put the brakeout on it last night, need to go see how it runs and do an initial zero with the irons and my replacement SWFA.
Rockset the brakeout on my 11.5 BCM SBR as well, need to choot it choot it and zero the PRO.
Ordered a pistol lower from Tim @Danger Lee since I have an extra pistol upper now.

Nice long ride on the Vespa this morning, some grocery shopping, might go help a buddy work on his place. This is the first day since before labor day that I've actually had off completely and totally, no emergency crisis going on needing all hands on deck.
What else is nice is I was able to finish another class today. 25 credits done so far since July 1st. I'm loving wgu.edu for my degree...

The Sig ran GREAT.
The BCM 11.5 ran GREAT.
Less than ideal setup (friend's ~80yd max range) but got them all dialed in and on paper. 1" groups with the BCM and M855 with my old eyes and both irons and a red dot against a 25yd MIL silhouette zeroing target.
The Sig may be a .5MOA gun, we'll see how it does after I get the SAPR stock dialed in better and get it on a decent bench or prone setup. The stock is a little loose/sloppy on the buffer tube. They also cut the pic rail too slim - my Larue bipod mount needed a shim to be tight enough.
The main thing is that it CYCLED THE AMMO I was having trouble with when running suppressed. [M2][MG][Sniper]

Ya know, I've been real disappointed this year. By now I usually would of at least 150 Jalapenos "2 plants", I've had maybe 30? My Ghost peppers and Trinidad Scorpions are doing well though, gonna have a bunch of those. I think we just had way to much moisture for the Japs...:(

I had a little help, but pulled up 370 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 pavers tonight.
That's some work after a 10 hour work day...lol. Been putting a new engine (7.3) in a customers ambulance the last few work days. Ran into a lot of problems with mismatched bolts, weird wiring, hokie siren set up combo on the front bumper.......been taking me longer than it usually would take. Plus ford was late delivering the engine Thursday afternoon when it should have been there by 9:00 am Thursday morning.
Oh well, the customer is in no big ass hurry for the car, and it's getting done right anyways, so it's all good.

the pistol instruction thing. Yes, I'll probably do it. The weird thing is that I'm not licensed by the state to be a CHL instructor. This will be something to teach the basics of making a pistol go bang and having that bullet go into a target. Seems simple enough.
As I'm not advanced (at least I don't feel that advanced), I won't charge too much. Just whatever my time is otherwise worth.
I think the key thing for me is that I've actually been taught how to teach firearms marksmanship. Weird.

Yeah carpart.com showed the cheapest salvage yard to be $69 and change for the assembly. I think Tacos in the you pull yards are slim pickings from what I've found. Advance auto parts lists K source OE replacement glass for $12.99, likely not going to get cheaper than that.

Just almost had my first confrontation with some shitbag at the shitbag hotel next door tonight. Some douche pissed off at his girlfriend, started throwing shit around in the room, and then whipped the window open and started throwing shit out the window towards my fence and property.
I used my outside voice with enthusiasm, and said "dont be throwing your shit over here, mother fucker"....and waited to see where stuff was going. The lady of the "house" was really apologetic and enlightened me about his state of inebriation and shitty attitude, and apologized again.
So, all ended okay.
I honestly don't want any bullshit started with the fokls in that establishment. They have it hard enough, I'm going through shit myself.....I just want unicorns and rainbow candies for everyone.

Tried to spend some time sparring with the son of a friend I used to spar with 25-30 yrs ago. Only took two rounds til I was wheezing and bleeding. Kid is faster than his dad was and I am a hell of alot slower than I used to be.

I was at the emergency room for about 5 hours the other night. They gave me some steroids to helpe my body flush out all that bug bite poison, or whatever it was. I got home at about 0230, just to turn around and have to be to work by 5. Yesterday was not that good of a day. Ice Cube wouldn't write a song about it is all I'm saying.

lol...come on man, I've been going down there for a couple of years now, learning stuff and basically going on "Science Lab" nights where there are no kids and they serve alcohol. Yeah, there's some libtard prissy bitches (including some that supposedly have penises, but I doubt it) that could use a good smack upside the head......but I can make the sacrifice for the sake of learning in some fields that I have great interest in.
It's cool sometimes, and sometimes a little less than. All in all though, not a bad experience.

Nah...nah...nothing like that. Actually I'm quite glad the days of moods like that are non-existent for me anymore. It's easier on the mind and heart, spirit....shit like that.
Truth is I don't know wtf is happening with my soul on this whole divorce thing. That whole "you can save it" deal is going on and my heart is in it as well. I still love the woman a great deal, regardless of the shortcomings on both of our behalves, and, the infidelity / relationship issues that developed with another man while we were still married and trying to repair our marriage.
I've found that as I'm getting older, I'm trying to be wiser.....Lobo mentioned something similar to that yesterday.
I wasn't perfect, and in fact I wasn't trying hard enough to show her how important she was to me. I wasn't being the best man to her that I could be, and I regret that. Also, the smoking and drinking bothered her, and it's important to me to find out how we would do if I were sober more often than not, and quit the damn killer cigarettes I've been sucking on since I was 13 years old. Thanks, Boy Scouts of America....for that fucking habit.
It's just perspective, Kazoo. It's what I'd like to do.... I don't know if I should be trying to see if shit can be saved or not, but I also think that it would be detrimental to me if I never found out. The worst that could happen is I get healthier and we find out that we really should be moving on in life separately....but remaining friends along the way. I care about her too much to never speak with her again, even if stuff cannot be repaired.

Man I hear ya. Got off work yesterday to the wife having cramps and stomach problems, figured it was probably nothing and I'd otherwise not worry about it but being pregnant I figured it's better to be safe than sorry, so I took a quick shower and off to the ER we went. Got out at 5am, 45 min drive home to drop off the wife and make coffee, then 40 min back to work to sleep in the truck for an hour and then put in a full day on a project I couldn't bail on. Got home 20 min ago, finally getting a chance to crap and shower and then I have to make dinner (wife still don't feel good) and then be up at 4:30 to get to work tomorrow.
Yay, life.

He was able to prove to 95% accuracy, that an ancestor, a Cardinal in the (I think) Roman Catholic Church was drawn and quartered for sins against the church. Probably for just being Irish (Delaney).

Pinky is still attached, thankfully. That finger especially is important. It really rounds out my collection of fingers. I've had my current collection for over three decades, so I'm pretty proud of that.
