Expensive for car tires. Of course it doesn't even compare to truck tires. What size tires are you getting on your trucks? I've have really good luck with hankook dynapros on my trucks.

That sounds pretty accurate. I'm so glad we don't have to send HB Jr to daycare anymore. Totally worth the paycut. None of us have been sick since he stopped going to daycare at the end of June.
Once you removed him from that incubator of disease, of course he'd be better. Haven't seen you post any home again HB jr's sick. Remove the cause, improve the health.

I've had pretty good luck/life with BFG Long Trail on the 99 Yukon. Couldn't swing the usual Michelins right before vacation a few years back. Costco had to order them in, but they were only ~$125 per, installed. 245/75 R16, E rated.
Not an off-road tire by any means, but have been decent in the snow and not noisy.

While all AR, as example are 1/2 x 28 not all suppressors threaded the same spec are the same cut / fit to your rifle. Some fit snug, require care installing, others are a looser fit. There are discussions about it on line.
Precision rifle, sure thread on can.
Running a can on multiple platforms - QD mount.
I'm also using brake/FH combos on some to reduce erosion of the baffles and then still have the brake/FH on if I'm not running them with the can.
I changed one pinned FH over to a combo because it rang (tuning fork) so badly.

A lot more rifles come with 1/2 x 28 threading than an AAC adapter. And threading doesn't cost an additional $100+ per gun.

I'm also using brake/FH combos on some to reduce erosion of the baffles and then still have the brake/FH on if I'm not running them with the can.
I changed one pinned FH over to a combo because it rang (tuning fork) so badly.

The only diagram in the manual showed the filter literally coming out of the oil pan. It took me 25 mins to find the stupid thing. Meh, there is enough stuff there that storing it anywhere indoors wouldn't make much difference. Good news is, that is a shingled roof over that area, not living space.

But they still need to move product to make a living. These are the good, solid Penco/Rivetier brand stuff, not that cheap lowes/HD crap that comes in a 44x18x4 flat box.
Try as I might, I cannot find a local deal on PIPP Mobile to match some I already have. It's a higher end, hidden rivet shelving used in medical offices, etc. This is the view from INSIDE.

Good catch! They are as tight as they will go. After struggling with the first one, I took my set of calipers and determined that the bottom of the keyholes were .02" smaller than the button that was supposed to fit in them. I called the company and they said that this was normal, as long as I whacked them with a mallet several times and they wouldn't budge. [Dunno] I'm playing it safe and distributing the weight very evenly.
ETA: I did a bunch of pull-ups hanging from various spots along each of the frames and they are all very stiff. I bounced in a few spots to see if I could break anything loose, and it held my bouncing weight just fine.

I don't have much experience with it (we sell and fab 2 & 3 cm). Have talked to a couple people who have it and they both like it. But I have no long term (7+ yrs) data on it.
Compare pricing and warranty carefully. Get several detailed bids for each style. Done properly the overlay stone should be gtg but I still have some concerns about the long term durability.
I would, at the end of the day still recommend 3 cm. Good deals can be found for 3 cm that negate the perceived savings.

I got my scope back from SWFA. The post on the zoom ring fell out. They replaced the scope with a new one.
My Sig716 is due back tomorrow from Sig. Doesn't appear they replaced the rifle since it didn't have to FFL. I can't imagine they re-rolled the serial onto a replacement lower but I guess you never know.
Anxious to see/understand what they did (or didn't do) to it. I really wish they had communicated with me before sending it back blind.

I shipped it to them 8-5.
They received it 8-11.
They shipped it back 8-14, untouched, with only the work order and smith's note. Didn't even have the rifle bagged. Someone screwed up by sending it back.
I even sent a note to the CSR that I was surprised to see the rifle shipped back (received automated UPS notice) without notice form Sig via phone or e-mail.
I received it 8-20 and shipped it right back after calling and then getting notice they need FFL info to ship a replacement.
I pulled all the MagPul furniture and the iron sights. Pulled my QD brake and re-installed the A2 FH. I hope they don't mind it has a $5 PSA buttstock on it and a stock pistol grip from my parts bin.
The new (rev) rifle should be a complete kit, I'm guessing sans the evil 20 rd magazine.
Replacement due in to DangerLeeIndustriesLLC.

Yes, and in my younger impetuous days I would have been very vocal. However, I've learned that I generally get what I want now by being polite, calm, rational, yet firm with my requests.
Yes, I said firm.
To Sig's credit, the first guy promptly admitted it was their mistake to ship that rifle back to me and that the smith's note was clear about replacement.
The second guy (original CSR) also apologized in his e-mail requesting the FFL info and the return shipment.

Never heard a service dept that quiet. Even the compressor stopped running.
Said before we get down to brass tacks, lets sit down, go over the issues they denied was happening. Manufactures refer to it as An Isolated Incident. Figured him sitting down didn't force me to look that high up to his face. Plus my knife was that much closer to vital areas ;) He reviewed the paperwork, then geared up.
Started the mc in question and made it 20' before it took a shit. OOPS guess there is a problem. 4 days, new mc to customer, tech updates and part numbers to dealers, to fix the isolated incident.
I took him to breakfast that morning. He took a red eye, guess he had a pressing engagement and didn't have time to eat before coming to the shop. We ended up becoming good friends, after work bar visits were fun.
I received 3 factory training seminars in 2 states over the winter. He took me for $50 on the Bronco - REDskins super bowl debacle.
Tell you what, when someone is standing there really pissed off, you make due, think fast. Hoping his height and width are a mirage from the morning sunlight shining in your eyes (NEVER STAND WITH THE SUN BEHIND YOUR OBJECTIVE)
