That's some tier 1 bender there.
Damn skippy...
Only way to roll. Gotta spend all the monies for something to be reliable...
Biggest things about this one is it comes setup for air/hydraulic or electric/hydraulic, does 180? bends, and includes the first set of dies.
Getting a JD2 or Pro-Tools to the same set of options is more expensive.
Not sure. But if you find one just make sure you're allowed to have multiple wives. Wouldn't be much joy in being in a cult if there weren't perks.
Need to change out the traditional cult attire to yoga pants and sports bras though.

Son of a bitch! I've been flirting with actually trying to write a stand up routine, and I was thinking of a joke about porn just this weekend. It's not far off from this guy. Well, I was wondering if you can generally get pieces to do stairs in any type of flooring that is sold? I assume I'll have to contact the manufacturer of the stuff I've been installing to see if they make the stair nose stuff. Otherwise I'm not sure how I'm going to do the stairs.
Tile is something I haven't really ever done before.

Depends on type/line of flooring you are using.
Most of the popular/big name brands have options for stairs, either stair nose or some sort of trim. Always had good luck with prefinished natural wood(sometimes nonstock but available) stair nosing, transition and trim options. Not sure on some of the laminates/composites.
If no product is available from manufacturer then you make your own. I have had the best luck with making my own wood nosing/trim and using a complimentary/contrasting color to avoid issues with color matching.
Tile depends on product.
Went through the ringer with some laminate flooring a while back. Ordered what I thought would be enough stair nose well in advance of a project, after starting realized I needed more. Company had changed colors, designs and dimensions on me and had no old stock. Ended up having to custom diy make some stair nose and stain to match.

Irving, you supposed to plan for stairs before you buy the flooring.
ChickNorris
02-11-2019, 02:25

I didn't buy the flooring or do the plans. This is the cheapest laminate at Home Depot, so I'm skeptical that stair nose will be available. I doubt that making my own is going to be an option though. Uh oh.

15 years ago when I redid all the doors and millwork, I put on some faux oak stair end caps and did carpet up the center and regret that. The upstairs hall is laminate and the downstairs oak has been replaced so now looking at full oak treads to redo the stairs.

We have full oak treads to match the 3/4" Oak hardwood upstairs. Don't have anything on them to add grip, and thus far have only had a single instance of ass over tea kettle. (Unfortunately, it was my wife, and she had one hell of a bruise and such).
When I have some time, I'm going to refinish them, and I saw an idea that includes some light sand being added to add traction that doesn't really show up. I haven't tested it yet, but will before I do the stairs.

Tell that the LED light strips I have that get so hot it heats the backing glue to liquid and the light falls off.

The strips used in the compartments of the cars we work on never get hot at all. Or the ones in one of my safes.
I'm certainly no LED lighting expert, but I know there are different styles and manufacturers for sure. I know that warm light LEDs get hotter than shit, the ones I put in my last house did. These lights are white, and the same manufacturer also makes patient lights and flood lights that are on for extended periods of time...and do not get hot.
So, that's why I edited and said I'd check to make sure... :)

Oh dear lord....I wouldn't do it with that POS...lol. I could have modified mine into a fine camper, but I kept it versatile enough to be utility based and easily prepped for multiple purposes.
After some internet research, I probably CAN do the stairs in the rental, but it would cost about the same amount as the flooring for the rest of the entire house! Between that and the tenant having supposed balance issues and having already, supposedly, fallen down the stairs once already (last owner didn't even have a hand rail), and mentioned how slick the new floor is, it really sounds like carpet is the way to go. I'm not sure how weird it will be to carpet JUST the stairs, but I don't really care. Thanks for all the help.
Use to know a dude on CSC that retrofitted a ambulance into a toy hauler / bike garage......TFOG would probably know who im talking about.
I would retro a old short bus into a battle wagon but for now I guess I'll settle on changing rotors and doing a bleed on the Buick brakes at some point and daydream.

Whatever the closest to 90 that you can get. Less is okay if the light tabs can still be welded at the same height, or close to the same height as the center two. I think the overall length was near 38 inches...and tab height needs to be at 3 or so inches from the mounting point I believe. I do have the drawing I made if you'd like to see it.

I just have too many hobbies and projects...
Some of them require learning new fabrication skills/capabilities...
The bender and aluminum tig are coming about because I learned that the shifter kart I bought has some inherent value due to who made it. Hence, I don't want to chop it up for my electric shifter kart project. So, I'm going to build a scaled copy of it. Scaled up a little, because I'm not shifter kart sized. Haven't been since I was ~12. I know part of the chassis is going to be AL, so I want to know how to do it right.
If this goes as well as I hope it will, I have this idea of building a "cross kart" of my own design and having fun with it. I have a "spare" zx-14 motor that is begging to be turbo'd and built into a over-grown go-kart with full independent suspension... Why? Because why the heck not???
It's amazing my wife hasn't left me yet...

For Irving and some other potentially interested persons... I did the light test today, ran the thing for an hour continuous duty and using a raytech infrared meter it barely made it to 100 degrees. Which honestly in the palm of your hand just feels warm. I also checked the amp draw which was at a whopping .3......so three of them together aren't even 1 amp.

I deliberated between gravitational affect on mass or effect on matter, mass notwithstanding, ultimately I didn't want to argue if it was tier infinite.... and that in fact time is relative to an observable album drop as Irving suggested.

But i'm also the one during dept meeting # 3 of the day. When the director mentioned productivity seemed to be lagging the last 2 weeks.

You know, if we didn't spend over 3 hours of the work day rehashing what we discussed the day before. I'm sure, and others while not saying publicly they agree. Productivity would not only increase, but exceed the monthly schedule.

Filtering. Very similar to housings we use on the water systems for stone CNC equipment. Stone routers, saws and water jet systems use very large amounts of water and used water must be filtered/cleaned before reuse or run down drain. Many other manufacturing processes have similar circumstances.

As said above, filter housing. We use these on all of our CNC mills to filter coolant. The white portion in the photo is a filter sock, which fits into the silver filter basket, which rests in the housing. the basket contains the filter so it does not get force into the outlet and impede flow.
