Forget the drought the heat wave of 80. Big D was averaging 115 + daily for 35 - 40 days. Windshields blowing out from the heat when people had their shit rolled up tight. Our brothers lived 1/2 block from the Long Neck Bar, located just across the street from WHATABURGER ;)

Was a pretty good time at the range. It actually got kind of busy around 11.

I zeroed the sights on 5 different rifles/uppers and I will say, the primary arms dot I bought gave me a helluva time.
I didn't know that you had to loosen the "lock" nuts on the back in order to make adjustments to windage/elevation. Finally figured it out and still had a hard time getting it consistently where I wanted it. Good thing it's just on my 10/22.

Started to have some issues with my Glock 19. I've never changed anything out except for the trigger connector, but I wonder if maybe it's time to replace the mainspring or some other parts? I was having some double-feeds and ejecting problems that I've never had before. I probably have 4-5k rounds through the gun.

No idea. But I think it will be fairly obvious when it hits bottom. All the bankers of the world will lose everything when PMs skyrocket, so they will do everything in their power to suppress PMs as long as they can before the whole system implodes. I think it'll go a lot lower than 15 before it hits bottom.

ACH is Automated Clearing House - aka The Fed. It's what banks use to move money around. Your direct deposit, bill pays, etc. are all handled by the Fed ACH. There is also EPN which is privatized, so they could be using that I suppose.

The Hanover range is 20min from my place. I like it because it is nice and peaceful and normally devoid of Fudds. Jim,what can I say. I just consider the source and those pic's of you and big john "pulling the handle" [LOL]At least ours is platonic. [Beer]

They turned out just right this time. The step I missed was to add just a touch of water to the onion bed.

oiled nonstick skillet
two chopped onions
1/2 pound of 1 oz patties (85%-15%) with 5 holes poked through
hillshire farm slider buns

add onions to skillet over medium low heat.
lay patties out evenly over onions.
add water to onions so they are just covered in liquid, about 2/3 cup
open bun and place bottom bun upside down over patties, then top bun on top.
scoot them close together to trap steam.
cook about 6 minutes or until meat is done.
add cheese, then pickle.
mustard on bottom bun optional, and recommended!

I ordered stuff from Omaha Steaks for my moms visit last week and got some lean NY strips for the wife since it had to be leather.[beatdeadhorse]

Camp chef pellet, no where near their suggested retail was paid. Almost 1/2 with .mil and other discount. had an early traeger, another board member is now proud owner .

The CC was going to be a joint project between me & my cousin , since he picked up 1/2 the tab. However it seems it has come under ownership of my spouse. As she says You MEAN MY SMOKER ! Been doing a 50/50 apple, hickory mix with good results. I toss some mesquite in the mix when doing pork shoulder. Tossing a few birds on tomorrow. We've found it's easier to smoke a fw batches of food, let sit over night in frige, then seal a meal. This way we have lunch & dinner ready to defrost for 2 weeks ahead of time.

WE liked a smoked flavor, without you eating something that sat in smoke all day. Like any seasoning the smoke has to blend with the food. I don't want a good cut of meat to get lost in the sauce so to speak.
Experiment ratio wise. Apple is good for poultry do a 75 A /25 H for a starter. Same ratio if using mesquite instead of hickory.
