It's been a roller coaster for sure. I've been sick for like a month now with this fukn cough and thought I was on the mend 10 days ago after having coughed up enough lungers to feed an Ethiopian for a week, then the cough roared back but was mostly unproductive and hoarish/hackish sounding. I'm that guy that doesn't go to the doc unless they won't refill meds, or a body part is pointing the wrong way, or a few other potentially life ending events.

Thinking the pneumonia caught up with me while I was recovering from the first bought of whatever I had.

Now later today, after a little rest, I'm actually feeling worse. Body aches that I didn't have before.

Maybe it's psychosomatic.

We have skunk wash stuff since the dog has been skunked three times in the past. Nature's Miracle. I've taken a lot of showers just to make my wife feel better, even though I didn't actually smell. The babies would spray a little stream out and as long as there was no direct contact, you were just standing in the cloud.

Ive a question & for those who know me it's probably not a stretch to imagine... is there a proper course / class / private instruction for an introduction to applied ballistics around here? I think I'm ready to try & get my sniper-nerd on & I'd like some direction.

My learning curve has been so steep in the last year its been a bit overwhelming @ times & yet its simultaneously never enough to satiate me. I keep finding huge gaps in knowledge & not because I haven't had excellent mentorship but likely because I just couldn't remember it all or all the bits & bobs have been misfiled.

I have taken other courses from Kenaz Tactical that were well done, but never the long range. They are limited on the range (max 400 yards)

Im not sure how this will translate but that class sounds much like my previous private lessons, a cross between my usual range day & Hoser's matches. By the course description, I'm not sure there's enough new material being introduced in that class to make the investment plus time & travel. For where I think I'm @ & where I want to go it just seems a little expensive for a basic review.

I'm not saying I wouldn't learn as I surely would... just less new (to me) material on the curriculum than Id like for the effort.

Interview went fine. Not gonna get an offer, and I'm glad. I have no desire for that particular line of work, nor for that company. My main goal with accepting the interview was to practice my elevator pitch and practicing answering questions (not rambling, refining how I say "I don't know", and in general just practicing interviewing).
