Jumped on the reloading wagon last week. Got all my gear.

Still can't find any large rifle primers. Picked up some M80 pulls but probably paid too much. Have some powder (IMR4064) as Varget seems impossible to get. Have to travel next week, but hope to work up some loads Turkey week if I can find primers. I was hoping to start on 308 loads, but may have to start on 5.56 as I do have CCI 450 primers and some 68gr boolits. Just gotta clean and prep the brass.

I passed on two boxes of CCI 250 LRP at Cabela's 11-11 when I bought the first round, because I didn't want the wife to know the full spend on the startup. I had to go back a few days later and get the other half and the LRP were all gone.. :D

I wanted to start out with 308 blaster/training, hence the desire for hard primers. I have both the 150gr pulls and some SMK 168gr BTHP match for the 308. Sig716P is the blaster rig and a 700P LTR for cleanup.

I have 68gr BTHP match but no blaster boolits for the 5.56. All my 5.56 bbl are 1:7.

Have a set of dies for .45ACP as well, some bullets, and piles of dirty brass. No LPP or pistol powder yet.

Bought a Lee turret press kit and some upgrades. (yea, I know, but it's a starter.)
Lee Deluxe 308 die set, added the 308 factory crimp die.
Lee .223 die set with crimp
Lee .45ACP carbide 4-die set

I passed on two boxes of CCI 250 LRP at Cabela's 11-11 when I bought the first round, because I didn't want the wife to know the full spend on the startup. I had to go back a few days later and get the other half and the LRP were all gone.. :D



I wanted to start out with 308 blaster/training, hence the desire for hard primers. I have both the 150gr pulls and some SMK 168gr BTHP match for the 308. Sig716P is the blaster rig and a 700P LTR for cleanup.

I have 68gr BTHP match but no blaster boolits for the 5.56. All my 5.56 bbl are 1:7.

Have a set of dies for .45ACP as well, some bullets, and piles of dirty brass. No LPP or pistol powder yet.

Bought a Lee turret press kit and some upgrades. (yea, I know, but it's a starter.)
Lee Deluxe 308 die set, added the 308 factory crimp die.
Lee .223 die set with crimp
Lee .45ACP carbide 4-die set
