Morning hos.
Hey HC, what's the scuttlebutt?
How do you rapidly (instantly) scroll to the bottom of a web page with an iPad? I can scroll up by just touching the top of my browser by the time. Doesn't work the other way...
Just zoom your finger downward real fast
Just zoom your finger downward real fast
No I don't want to scroll. I just want it to move all the way to the bottom. Can I do that?
Honestly I have no clue. I broke my laptop, can't afford another and I'm stuck on this crappy phone.
Maybe scroll then when the side scrollbar appears hit the bottom of scrollbar
Tried that too, I can't drag the scrollbar.
There is no instant scrolldown feature. Just checked the interwebs.
Quick question. Is all the beer sold in Safeway 3% beer?

I wandered in to that King Soopers one day and was like WTF...
Well my dilemma is I have one pretty decent scope and 3 decent scope. Should I sell them all and buy one really good scope and interchange them?
IMO yes. I have (now) two pretty good scopes. Scope One (1-4x) has an excellent QD mount, and the new scope (3-12x) is getting a QD mount soon. I have Moved scope 1 back and forth onto two rifles and figured out my poi shift. Very repeatable so I can click back and forth quite easily on the turrets after I switch. Two scopes will be more than adequate to cover my needs with my three AR platforms. Eventually I'd like to get a high-end scope with about a 6-25x magnification range, then I can run the full gambit.
sell the 3 decent scopes and invest in good QD mounts and one good scope.
eta. I also have a cheap scope that is actually pretty decent for long range on a bolt gun. It will get the 6-25x, but will probably get high end QD rings in case I want to put on something else.
What do you feed them? the ones we had were hand friendly and sit on your shoulder. They are fairly tame, docile creatures.
Crickets. Occasionally with protein powder dusted on them. I bought mine large. Wasn't sure if if had been handled, so I opted to forego handling. I do let the one at the butterfly pavillion crawl on me.

If you don't count red dots, I have two decent scopes: bushnell 6-24x50 and leupold mk4 lrt 3.5-10x40. They are both in QD mounts, and its an easy and repeatable process to move them when I can get a chance to confirm the zero.
heres the easy process:
1. Mount the scope into the mount and onto the first rifle. I've made a video on how to do that.
2. Zero the optic to the rifle.
3. Remove the QD mount from the rifle and install onto another firearm.
4. Re-zero the optic to the new weapon. WRITE DOWN WHAT ADJUSTMENTS NEED TO BE MADE!!!!
5. Reset the zero stop/turret, if your optic has such a feature.
done.

http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=0c6_1389025127
TF-MYX Beechcraft Super King Air 200, Air Ambulance from Air Myflug crashes on a dragstrip during qualifying before a race in Iceland.
3 persons onboard,Captain and Medic killed, Co-Pilot survives with minor injuries. No injuries on the ground.
Investigation is still active, plane was fully functional and well maintained. This was not an emergency landing. Co-Pilot has not commented publicly but it is known that he made remarks to the Captain about the dangerous flying.
Captain had requested a go around moments before landing at an airport close by and flew dangerously fast and low heading to dragstrip according to witnesses and crashed. Captain had close connections to the club running the dragstrip.
This is the Co-Pilot's second plane accident, excactly 12 years prior to the crash he had an emergency landing where the medic that died treated him for minor injuries.

Oh gawd, not THAT place! I really don't see what the big deal is with big shitty burritos, they taste horrible!
My old roommate LOVED it when they came to Boulder. That was always his choice when we went out. Probably the reason I moved out on my own. [LOL]
Speaking of burritos, you ever try that Mexican food place in the gas station in Raton? Pretty darn tasty, IMHO. Don't know exactly where you're located, so might not even be relevant.

Hour long commutes suck.
I have a 55 minute commute right now

Exactly. I'm savin' for a rifle, so every penny counts. Or so Belly led me on to believe [LOL]

And I'm salaried, which is both a good and bad thing. Good thing because, well, I don't have to track hours. Bad because I have to work holidays with no pay bump (not with new project though) and because there's a good chance I'll be working 60hr weeks soon.

YES! That place is DELICIOUS!!! The cycling team stopped there on the way to UNM for a race years back, we all got food poisoning unfortunately (or something) but they definitely have great food!

yeah well.. I typically work 50-55 hour weeks, some weekends, some nights, and about half of the holidays. And I don't get overtime, etc.

When I'm home, my commute's about 55 minutes too. No way I can work from home, though, and not too many other options where I am...especially that pay like what I have. And now I'll be home most of the time, so it's time to start thinking about getting a commuter. 17 mpg in my Tundra ain't gonna do it.

I hear ya HB, that's rough! Holidays are the worst. In the 3.5yrs I've worked here, I've had to work 3 christmases/eves, 2 new years, 3 thanksgivings and the other holidays I don't keep track of really.
Troubleco, feel your pain. There's nothing around me that pays as well as I get paid. Especially after I move to the new project (officially that is), huge pay bump which will be nice!
My bad, Vermont Sharp-White. Its in a Green Foil wrapper. Delicious!
I prefer Murray's Welch Cheddar available at King Soopers (Kroger Foods).
Their Butterkäse is incredibly smooth and luscious too.
Not a big fan of their Extra Sharp Cheddar, I prefer any good old 3-5 year or older Wisconsin Cheddar.

Yeah, I just upgraded to an Xterra, which gets 5-7 mpg better than I was getting before... For perspective, that is a 50% improvement. I'm excited.

Thats what got me to buy my mini cooper. It gets 38-40mpg (42mpg driving in the mountains to work) whereas my xterra gets 13 on a good day. The gas savings alone was enough to pay for the mini!

Always nice when your pay goes up! I got a raise (hourly) with my promotion...but the new position equates to a pay cut because I won't be deploying nearly as much. The quality of life boost will be worth it, though...I've been gone the last 3 Christmases, 2 of 3 Thanksgivings, and almost all other holidays and family birthdays. So I know how you feel. Congrats on the bump, though!
Cheese...Tillamook Cheddar is one of my favorites.

I've looked at Xterras, but since I have the Tundra with a topper I need something with way better mileage. I've looked at Minis too, but for the money I'd rather get a used Volkswagen Jetta or Sportwagon with the TDI engine, or if they ever actually make it, an Elio. Something just for commuting that gets great mileage and doesn't use up the funds I need to build my workshop and buy my tractor.
Shiiite.. I missed six pages on tapatalk. I must reverse course.

Kneebadger - history dating back to early 1600s in Europe. It is a midget who is a tough barter in the market square. Usually they are drunk and spout profanity.

Woot woot!
Got my Hornady LNL powder measure. Boy oh boy this things robust! I only hope it performs as well as it feels. The Lee measure definitely does not compare.
Need to clean off the shipping lube, then run a hopper through it to break it in. Might go do that tonight if I'm bored.

I'm just chillin after my first trip back to the gym in about a year now.....when I first really pissed of the shoulder. Took some really easy attempts at upper body stuff, and it felt okay.
It was a lower body night though, and my legs are effin rubbery....gonna be sore tomorrow..lol
Really cool of you to help Brutal out, if that ends up happening.

That's how I felt working until 5 @ Quebec and iliff then drive to i70 and Kipling by 6. Especially the cars that go slow until the light turns yellow, run the yellow and leave you at the red. *rage*

I was going three times a week, until weakened shoulders from my occupation, my left side went to shit. Operation and all that....right before BC's knee surgery I think.
Been six months, and I'm about to start lifting tires/wheels again....time to get back to the gym too.
