35 minutes to loading another moving truck when you realize what's really needed is another 26' unit. BUT not wanting anyone you don't know handling your gun collection[s] and other items . One bites the proverbial bullet and spend more money for another tow behind trailer. Anyone want to make a few $$ as well as a plane ticket back to CO, call me. Or pm what ever way works.

Had you thought about using U-Ship? I've moved bulky items before at relatively low cost. Might beat renting another truck. Dunno, just a suggestion.

Guns? there's more safes packed then clothes or furniture.
Went with Uhaul U-boxes. Pods doesn't go there, the u-ship folks quoted me $3800 + $700ish per month storage, per container . Uhaul is $70 per, per month.

Didn't realize you were doing containers. You should have just bought some, loaded them up, shipped and stored, then built your bunker with them.

We're renting till we find something worth our $$. I think the landlord for the house we're at might get upset if we started trenching the property to sink a few cylinder bunkers in. Unless he pre-approved the plans and placement of said bunkers.

Dilema,
larger property, no garage, newer home 4.5 ac
smaller property, LARGE garage, older home 1 ac.
My vote is a large pay area because you know all us ho's like to play and not everything goes well using inside the house. My wife still can smell hoppies in my house a day or two after I use it. Besides need space for the lathes, mills, 3d printers, molding machines and stripper pole

Just had a deal where I went through a four way stop sign intersection, and three dudes in a maroon dodge pick up eyeballed me/my car hard as I pulled away. A few blocks later they were behind me.
I'm not a nervous or paranoid person, but standard SA is always on. I took some weird turns on streets not heading to where I live, and they followed each turn I made. A-hole radar is off the chart at that point....pulled into a strip mall and just parked for a while and waited. Might have been nothing, but it sure had my neck hairs rose up a bit.

20 minutes of solid hard monsoon rain can wash out 2 miles of dirt road for 1-2 days. Rains, clears up, sun shines, road gets kind of dryish. Following afternoon, rinse & repeat.
Thankfully we have an all wheel drive minivan.

Perhaps sometimes....turkeys just need to have some fun and get fucked by a giant skeeter. It might seem unusual to you and I, but maybe that's just in the cards for contemporary turkeys that are living in our current times.

PACA Licensing
Much like you need a driver’s license to operate a vehicle, the law requires that you have a PACA license to operate a produce business. A PACA license is proof to your customers and suppliers that you are a serious business person who can be trusted to honor the terms of your contracts.

I don't have good coverage! But it was only a 4' gap.
4' gap. Like this is 8" < >
Well, the 7/12 pitch on a metal roof plays a factor as well. With the eave overhang, the physical gap was probably only 3' 6", but I dare anyone to shimmy down to the very edge just to step across.
The worst part when you're on those things and you're thinking, "I hope this metal is in good shape, at least it's full of corn." Then when you get to the top you see that it's completely empty.
You need to film w/ a GoPro and a fake Russian accent next time.
I wore a Go-Pro on a roof once, and even though it was a partially wet wood shake and I actually slipped, it was pretty boring.

Soft compound soles for steel and ability to mimic metrosexual hop/spring step. should get 125% of your height if point toes and fling arms up.
I was wearing knock-off vibrams today to test them out. The very first roof I got onto, I was sliding all over the place on a slope where that shouldn't happen. After spending most of the day walking around in cow shit, they turned very sticky after that and I'm pretty impressed with them. Today was an exciting day.
-Buried van up to the axles in the lowest part of a cow pasture (which means it was mostly run off cow shit)
-Got to see a cool front-end loader up close! as it pulled my van out of the cow shit.
-Watched a goat fight a calf.
-Had a confrontation with a beautiful barn owl. Which means that I startled it out of its nest and then watched it smash its face into two different windows while I tried to get my phone out, before deciding to just move out of the way before it broke its neck.
-Played Tetris with my aluminum ladder as I navigated a complicated 3D maze of cattle fence and hotwire.
-Parkoured some grain bins.
-Nearly stepped on a litter of six infant rabbits, then stopped to pick them up and take pictures of them for my kid.
On the board for tomorrow is an 80' windmill. I'm thinking about asking if I can climb it. Probably won't happen though.

That's why it's a secret, because most people don't know yet. They haven't seen the light.

What potatoes are you eating that have spice at all? If potatoes didn't just taste like flavor sucking starch, then it'd be okay.

That's pretty much how I feel about Thanksgiving turkey. Might as well be a 22lb, bland potato.
Here is something that's been bothering me for a while. What's up with all this self-deprecating labeling going on? I realize that Snickers has the funny commercials about how you change when you're hungry, and you're probably buying it for the candy and not the label. I really don't get the drink marker ones though. How many people are identifying with such negative self image?

If you're not a potato fan, then it would be hard to convince anyone that the potato factor is pretty neato in the breakfast burrito experience. I started out with hash browned taters, but switched to cubes.....and actually like the cubes better, but the hashed were not horrible by any means.
I would consider a high wager that if you consumed one of my burritos, you would..........smack yo mama.

Gardening is in my future, and I fully intend to suck at it at first. With some help, I'll get it figured out eventually.
I can't figure anyone that gets it right on the first roll out on an endeavor....[Dunno]
What started my disdain for potatoes in breakfast burritos were places that advertise a $2.00 breakfast burrito and it's just some shit full of potatoes with a little bit of cheese and a 1/2 tsp of ground beef. I have a bit of thing about potatoes in general, having realized that they are just cheap filler in many meals. That said, the same can be said about rice, beans, and noodles, but I much prefer those alternatives. So while I don't hate potatoes like many people hate mushrooms or onions, I'll pick something else given the option. My favorite breakfast burrito is the Chorizo with cheese and substitute potatoes for beans at Big Mama's.
A PVC sprinkler system or drip system that you can easily turn on/off for a prescribed amount of time makes gardening a lot easier.

This place is set up on a drip system. It's either not a long enough watering period per plant, or the 90 - 97 deg days are the factor.
Is stuff drying out? I guess it doesn't make gardening that much easier, but it certainly makes one aspect easier to do on a busy schedule. Weeding and watering is pretty cathartic though.

"No,...I don't know what happened to it".
Maybe instead of air freshener you could rig that thing up to an air horn. That would make things entertaining. Not to mention keeping your heart well exercised every time it goes off.
Now I get to listen the G line at four fucking thirty in the morning on a Sunday.
If you'd keep normal hours then you'd be sleeping at that time of day and wouldn't have to listen to it.
You should fight back by keeping a couple of roosters.

One of the things I like about visiting my sister in Cave Creek, Arizona, for Christmas was her tomato plants were still producing.
We would have fresh tomatoes while Denver had feet of snow.
She didn't have time to put a lot of effort into gardening, but they seemed to flourish in the fall and winter when temperatures finally got relatively cool.

I interacted with a lady the other day, and if the police called me and asked a bunch of questions about a murder, I wouldn't even be surprised. "Oh that lady? Yeah, I could see that."

Watched lightening that looked like one of those lasers from a sci-fi movie hit about 1 mile from here. Thing lite up the sky @ 5:45 this afternoon. Monsoon has another 3-4 weeks before it stops. The weather people around here always say there's a 20% chance for rain later today. Nothing like a standard CYA everyday.

Eeyore was the voice I heard when I read your text after I heard Tigger's: good morning ... lovely day -voice.
I was born at Bisbee Hospital & spent the summers at my Grandmother's house there. I remember watching the lightening with my nose against picture window trying to widen my field of view. I also remember arroyos flooding & the paved streets were water falls (Bisbee proper). Those storms were both beautiful & a little terrifying. However the nighttime storms on the horizon with the unpolluted star filled sky above, were my favorite. I visit Tucson frequently & there have been a few electrical duesies during my trips so now I've a better context when you said: rain @ 4. :)

Speaking of dinner, I had some shrimp and vegetables off the barbecue for dinner tonight, it was delicious.
I also have a bitch to pitch about installing microwave ovens in a 36" opening. While the instruction template was ultimately confusing and significantly retarded to try and figure out.....I did manage to get the goliath pile of shit hung, but after all the effort and best intent.....I blew the vertical distance from the plate hooks to the support screw shelf by a 1/4 inch. Everything else was dead on right but I miscalculated some bracket hook dynamic unfamiliar to me.
I'll get it sexy and right tomorrow.

I would consider a high wager that if you consumed one of my burritos, you would..........smack yo mama.
:D
My husband does a Santiago Saturday, every Saturday. Even tried medium & mild to see if they had additional flavor other than 'heat' & to me they didn't. If I never had another Santiago, I doubt I'd miss it.
Santiago's burritos fresh from the drive thru are poop.... let em sit for 20min for the cheese to melt and the sauce get in all the nooks and crannies and they are very different and great tasting burritos then.
That said... every Sunday the OldWest Bbq place in castle rock gets my burrito money...

There was a place called Alexander's with two locations for short while, Boulder & Denver. Can't say it was my style of eatery but I really liked some of their burritos & the green chili was darn good too. Hmmmm... green chili. I always snicker when Colorado natives go elsewhere & forget Colorado style green chili is truly unique & order something with it. Most folks I've seen politely suffer through the meal they are given & then b*tch later in private.

Rumor has it that Colorado style green chili originated in &/or near Pueblo. If anyone has alternate or corroborating information, I'd like to know it.

How true
Down here it's red or green sauce, the green is not bad, the red is more an enchilada sauce.. Go down to the valley (Phenis/ Scottsdale area) you get diced green chilis. CA has green but it's more of a tomatillio style.

Craziest thunder storm I've ever heard in my life going on right now. The first big boom, I was laying on the ground in my driveway installing my trailer hitch wiring on my van.
