When the dials on your scope stop working and you have to figure out your hold unders/overs for the different ranges. It's frustrating. It's more frustrating when the instructor just walks up and spins your elevation knob. Then says, "figure it out. Oh and shoot support side off this barricade at that target. HC...I'm really missing the exertion at work for the last six months, and no gym time since Feb.

I was trying to stop losing body mass, reverse that, and go the other way....all of that went to shit when my shoulder told me that I wasn't going to be doing that anymore. There was a time when I was 190 lbs. Cigarettes and alcohol have taken their toll over the last 25 years or so.

Most likely. The last house I rented in the mountains, we got about 2" of rain in a matter of 45min. When I got home from work (driving through the torrential downpour), I walked into my house to find a river flowing through it that was 2" deep. There were leaves that I could see flowing from one end of the house to the other. It was hilarious and upsetting at the same time!

Yup, I sort my brass by headstamp too but only because its easier to keep track of times reloaded. Anything that isn't Federal or Win (for pistol) gets lumped together in the misc brass pile that I load up for classes or other places where I won't be able to pickup my brass.

Thinking of making a reloading "bench" that will be perfect height for setting in front of my couch. Yep, kinda trailer trashy, but hear me out on this.

No basement, no heated or cooled garage area....detatched garages anyways.

The idea is to make the bench out of 4x4 framing, using quality lumber....and highly skilled worksmanship btw.....lol. But also build a metal frame with locking castors on it, so I can transfer it out to the garage at a normal standing height for when the weather IS nice for doing it out in the garage.

you'll get busy watching tv and double load a case, then you'll go out and BLAMMO, destroy your gun. i occasionally listen to the radio but my focus is on reloading.

i use a straight back chair because you'll be wanting to check cases and get up and stuff and a comfy couch will set you too far back from the bench and your reloading machine

I hadn't really thought about having the TV on, though I guess eventually it would be. It's impossible to be kicked back in a couch and being productive at a bench. I would be sitting on the front edge of it, and paying complete attention to what I was doing.

My reloading room is in my sunroom, during the summer I leave the main house door open to let the cooler house air into it but its still a bit unbearable. During the winter, I'll probably do the same thing or I might move my electric oil radiator out there.

Don't get me wrong, I sit down when I reload too. I just wouldn't do it in front of the tv or sitting on a couch.

Maybe after you've gotten the process down and have reloaded lots of rounds and have more experience, then you can listen to the radio, have tv playing or do other stuff. But in the beginning, it would behoove you to pay close attention to what you're doing. KBs are no laughing matter. Unless they're in glocks. Then they're just funny. [LOL]

Yeah, that stuff is all ready.......the only thing holding us up is getting the machines mounted. Turns out that a friend is willing to donate his Fathers stuff to us, so we can duel load with machines on either end of the bench.

Making a small bench isn't the problem that we're bringing up. You can do that but frankly, sometimes my 5ft wide bench feels small. And once you get the stuff down, and feel confident, feel free to move it in front of a tv or wherever there is heat/cooling.
