Also, the rear lug doesn't fit into my 80% lower, so it looks like that will be going back onto the mill. It does fit on one of the many PSA lowers I have around though. So it looks like I'll be building everything from the ground up as I have to take all the parts off and put them onto a lower that works.

it's just taking forever. it's not a digital camera, so the rendering has to take in real time. if i fart wrong, it'll skip a frame or twelve, then the audio and video get screwed up. I tried it with the little action cam, and that's what's uploading now.

it's less-professional video, but you can see everything and you can generally make everything work from the example.

Also, I don't have the detent or spring for the rear bolt thing, so I currently have a piece of electrical tape holding the rear detent together so I can shoulder the rifle. Now I need to look up a video on how to lube everything. I was able to fit the BCG and charging handle in just by looking at the parts and working it out, but I'll watch a video just so I better understand how everything works. I've already got some mags and ammo so once I lube up and get that last detent and spring, and have someone properly torque some stuff down, I"ll be ready to shoot.

Drove 2 hours in the slick to Canyon City this morning, 2 hours on the damn train, drove 3 hours back including the slog through Garden of the Gods, shoveled snow (too light to blow), went out to eat dinner and now I need to get my ass to bed after I finished the couple fingers of Jameson special reserve.

You folks should join in with the contest / game the wife and I play while driving.
There's 3 sections Male, Female, Other.
Everytime a person does the stupid idiot, cut you off, no stop at sign, dragging ass on the highway, etc. They get a point, end of trip see who's worse. The "other" category is for the driver one is unable, or unsure of determining sex of. Believe me there's quite a few fill that column.
Even better, the driver you pass / catch up to, 70% of them are flying OBAMA-BIDEN, READY FOR HILLARY ...OR Other progressive bumper sticker.

If you happen to have a bottle of fuel drier/de icer in your garage somewhere.....pour in part of the bottle and let the truck run tonight for 10 or 15 minutes before you go to bed. I've no personal facts one way or another if that's not a good thing to do with E-85 or not, but I would think it wouldn't hurt anything.

Eh shit......upon further review, E 85 is it's own anti-freeze. You shouldn't have any problems with that, Jerry.

ETA....I didn't know that 10% mix was enough to keep it from freezing, but it evidently is.

Drove out to a friend's in E-ville today around 1400. Got stuck behind some joker going 35 up the hill out of Franktown. THIRTY FREAKIN FIVE MPH! Then he would speed up 55-60 in the passing areas and downhill. I finally snapped and took him in the merge passing lane at Flintville and he gave ME a stinkeye as I went past. Prick.

Got home around 2000 after overstaying our intended visit, dropped the drunks old folks and my wife off at the house (I was stone cold sober DD FWIW), topped off the washer fluid in the car and took out the pile of trash to kill a few minutes, and headed off to pick up a Pizza we had called in.

FYI, it was -16 in Elizabeth (south of town) and -13 on the car reading all the way home.

Papa Johns LOST the pizza that clearly showed was READY in their computer but it was MIA. They remade it quickly. I asked the young dumb bitch blonde TWICE and the dude making it if they had the right ingredients listed on the order. When I opened it to check, the f*ckers messed it up good but it was free by then and we were all hungry. I was hungry, they were drunk hungry.

On the way home, two blocks from the house, I get stuck behind some jackwad going 10MPH! TEN F*CKING MILES PER HOUR!!!

This has been the story of my life the last couple days. People going excessively slow with 10 cars behind them. Yesterday a dumbass pulled out in front of me as I was leaving my neighborhood. Well, a mile or so up the highway dude decided he would fully lock up his brakes to "show me". Now I had been up all night plowing and living on a few hours of shitty sleep. Miraculously, my giselle like reflexes kicked in and I was ready to pass and did so. Lucky for both of us as I wasn't expecting him to go full retard and I would have hit him for sure.

Drove out to a friend's in E-ville today around 1400. Got stuck behind some joker going 35 up the hill out of Franktown. THIRTY FREAKIN FIVE MPH! Then he would speed up 55-60 in the passing areas and downhill. I finally snapped and took him in the merge passing lane at Flintville and he gave ME a stinkeye as I went past. Prick.

Got home around 2000 after overstaying our intended visit, dropped the drunks old folks and my wife off at the house (I was stone cold sober DD FWIW), topped off the washer fluid in the car and took out the pile of trash to kill a few minutes, and headed off to pick up a Pizza we had called in.

FYI, it was -16 in Elizabeth (south of town) and -13 on the car reading all the way home.

Papa Johns LOST the pizza that clearly showed was READY in their computer but it was MIA. They remade it quickly. I asked the young dumb bitch blonde TWICE and the dude making it if they had the right ingredients listed on the order. When I opened it to check, the f*ckers messed it up good but it was free by then and we were all hungry. I was hungry, they were drunk hungry.

suppressors get hot. the heat radiates off teh highest point, which happens to be right in line with the line of the scope, which can cause a false mirage effect. This assumes a couple things: your suppressor is a cylinder.

the cover mitigates that mirage to the point that a hot suppressor might not interfere with the next shot.

You did date the batteries prior to installation, yes? This way you can track time of install , to time it wakes you up 2 hrs before you normally get up for work.

haha. I returned some items to the RV the other day and heard something chirping from outside after spending only a brief moment in it.
