I have a G22...I've got the sight picture down pretty good on how to aim and hit stuff pretty decent. My concern is that I have a G17, that when I try and hold the sight picture in the same manner as the G22....the G17 is always low and left of aim point. Is this an issue of rear sight adjustment?.... recommendations?

Yeah, definitely have a qualified smith adjust your Glock sights. My buddy tried to do it himself without a proper sight adjustment tool and marred the tennifer finish on his G26.

We have these giant bay's and echo like an SOB. We use hammers at least once a week, the radio is always blaring, and every tiny thing echo's. My wife says I have selective hearing, I tell her it's because I used 89 decibles constantly, so if you want my attention yell my name. She comes back with "you in our house" I respond with, "huh?"

No hot powder charges here... Speer Manual has max load at 25 gr. and that's what I've loaded everything at. We've shot the 20 initial rounds we loaded, and were happy with everything that happened there...so I loaded a bunch of stuff up the same way.

I think you're really gonna like it, and have some fun with it...I am. Some of it is very tedious and painstaking, and that makes the result that much more satisfying.

With 25 grains of powder, you should be getting 280~ish out of a lb of powder.

I struggled using a hand primer tool the first time. Flubbed three whole primers and cases to get it right.

three primers isn't that bad until you realize they can blow up in your face. No big whoop.

7000 grs to 1lb. Average load out os 250-280 depending how many times spillage occurs, Or the ever present OOPS no primer seated, one.

I'd try running 24 grs for plinking, That would average out to another 11-12 rounds per lb. You could drop it to 23.8.
Using 2230 still gives me 3 - 4 moa (average) @ 200 with 55gr BTFMJ. put that on a 14 x 14 target and it's COM, every time.
No reason you need to be pushing max load specs for paper.
