Just watched Pacific Rim. Meh. Laws of physics are frequently ignored and the whole thing is rift with cheesy dialogue and an unpolished plot.

Not my type of movie I guess...

Odd, the Pacific Rim, I watched, had little if any dialogue and no plot, OR Clothes. Excellent special effects.

It was a 223...saved the die though. Put it back together and ran a few more, and it's alright. I should have just thrown that piece of brass away instead of trying to save it.

What kind of case lube you using OBC?

OtterbatHellcat
10-19-2013, 09:15
Yeah, I'm going to get some more done today too...until it warms up a bit out there, and then get some winterizing done. Sprinkler system drain out, and a few other things done. I wanna scalp the yard too, makes raking leaves much easier later on.

OtterbatHellcat
10-19-2013, 09:18
It's a Lee product, Bogie. Cream in a little tube, and it does dry up after a few minutes.

The tube says right on it, that it eliminates stuck cases...so I'm sure it will never happen again.

There must be some better stuff out there I assume.

bogie
10-19-2013, 09:24
All kinds of options. Lots of people make their own case lube. And there are some aerosol sprays too.

Hang in there, JM.

Living is an emotional deal....you'll be alright, Man. You can always keep in touch with those people too.

Look to have a good day. It really kinda starts there, I spent many years going to bed, and waking up every day, thinking everything sucked. Your attitude and your mindset can really help you if it's positive.

I looked in the handgun section, and didn't see what I was looking for.

If any souls would be kind enough to steer me in the right direction on this, I"d be appreciative. I have a G22...I've got the sight picture down pretty good on how to aim and hit stuff pretty decent. My concern is that I have a G17, that when I try and hold the sight picture in the same manner as the G22....the G17 is always low and left of aim point. Is this an issue of rear sight adjustment?.... recommendations?

We have these giant bay's and echo like an SOB. We use hammers at least once a week, the radio is always blaring, and every tiny thing echo's. My wife says I have selective hearing, I tell her it's because I used 89 decibles constantly, so if you want my attention yell my name. She comes back with "you in our house" I respond with, "huh?"

she finally came out and saw/heard where I work, and could finally understand. It's so bad that 1 out of 9 people get hearing aids.

7000 grs to 1lb. Average load out os 250-280 depending how many times spillage occurs, Or the ever present OOPS no primer seated, one.

I'd try running 24 grs for plinking, That would average out to another 11-12 rounds per lb. You could drop it to 23.8.
Using 2230 still gives me 3 - 4 moa (average) @ 200 with 55gr BTFMJ. put that on a 14 x 14 target and it's COM, every time.
No reason you need to be pushing max load specs for paper.

Anything less than 8 lbs is substandard.

Buying 1lb containers, except for load development is, IMO, mental masturbation. Like the guy in a LGS buying primers. CSR said we have 1 - 5 K available. Guy goes i'll take 1K [facepalm] Your reloading and buying 1K, it cost you more to drive there and back than buying all 5K. I understand 1K of anew primer, maybe. I took the other 4K ;)
Buy often, buy in BULK.

Or the ever present OOPS no primer seated, one.

Um.... I did this to three rounds.

That's 75 grs lost, lower your charge weight 1gr, it adds up
