I figured out the flooring bullshit. Several aspects were involved in the problem(s) I was having, but I've got on the right track now. That's a good feeling, and it's looking good.

monitor that carefully, please (I know you will). The scarring can mess with the natural drainage in the ears and make it much easier to get ear infections later in life, even though that's probably the reason they were put in there.
Ask me how I know! (I had tubes in my ears. I had a lot of scarring. I then had the scarring removed so I could join up. Now they're scarred up all over again from my vacations.

No more head under water while swimming. Use cotton balls / puffs, while bathing him. Anything to minimize water getting in the eat canal. Like TB i had tubes also.

Truth, he's not overweight. He's a normal-sized quiet man. He hasn't yet raised his voice, and he hasn't yet made any changes that have been too exciting.
He asks questions that force an answer that is uncomfortable. It keeps people honest, but at the cost of making people suspicious of motives. I'd rather people just come right out and say it. Whatever 'it' is, just say it.

Have to re-weigh it but the glass is out at SWFA right now. Zoom ring post fell out unnoticed.

Had to go back to Sig after 3 rounds and then FTE/FTF.
They polished the chamber, deburred the gas port on the piston block, and gave it a nice free trigger job. Got an extra mag back with it too (pre-ban).
Now it's mostly good although picky with some ammo (PCI) with the can hanging off the end. Won't cycle old M80 ball Greek reliably in any config. Just need to keep banging rounds through it and keep the chamber clean.

1-1.5 MOA with ball ammo. Closer to 1MOA with my first M80 clone loads. Closer to 1MOA with my old retired Marine friend behind the trigger.
.75-1MOA with GMM It's only a 16" bbl.
Haven't found the time to start a workup for all the components I have here for .308
Needed to order the the SAPR to get off the chin weld. That Larue QD mount is great for clearing the iron sights, but it's too high for a good cheek weld.

LT104 - even higher but I wanted to keep the BUIS on the rifles. Pretty sure LT158 would not clear them.
I don't think any mount on any flat top will really be low enough for me with a standard AR stock for a decent cheek weld. I must have high cheekbones or low eysockets.

We picked this up tonight. Everything is great so far. Couple of hang up like her not having been exposed to cats, so she doesn't know what to do but bark and go crazy. First time we heard her bark. Also, when the owner told me she was about 40lbs, I think he was hinting at the amount of diarrhea shit I was going to have to spend an hour cleaning out of the middle of our bedroom carpet tonight. I'm too tired to go into detail, but she really does seem like a great dog that will be a great fit for our family. 8 months old. Mom was a black German Shepard and dad was a Yellow Lab. Pretty excited about her.

Honestly, if you want to save yourself a lot of trouble, don't ever give her any human food. Dog food only. This will keep her out of your kitchen and away from the dining room table (or wherever you eat) and she won't ever beg for stuff. Seriously, it's the best choice we made when we got our rescue at 6 months old.
It hasn't even been one day yet, but no people foods is the plan.

Houston, we may have a problem.
I haven't really done much with this rifle besides shoot it lately, but was giving it some love tonight while installing the new SAPR and also thinking about the fickleness with some ammo when running suppressed. I'm a little OCD at times and it was bugging me again after posting about it earlier.
I notice the receiver has some pretty heavy fresh dings where it appears the BCG has slammed into the receiver. I don't recall these relief cuts being there beside the others.

Same issue - fine until he started running suppressed. Seems this may be going back to Sig once again. Sounds like they had been sending out replacement (updated) rifles with larger relief cuts, H2 buffers, and a redesigned gas block. We'll see if their customer service lives up to my expectations that they make it right.

Hmmm.
Houston, we may have a problem.
I haven't really done much with this rifle besides shoot it lately, but was giving it some love tonight while installing the new SAPR and also thinking about the fickleness with some ammo when running suppressed. I'm a little OCD at times and it was bugging me again after posting about it earlier.
I notice the receiver has some pretty heavy fresh dings where it appears the BCG has slammed into the receiver. I don't recall these relief cuts being there beside the others.

Same issue - fine until he started running suppressed. Seems this may be going back to Sig once again. Sounds like they had been sending out replacement (updated) rifles with larger relief cuts, H2 buffers, and a redesigned gas block. We'll see if their customer service lives up to my expectations that they make it right.

They updated the gas block and op rod and bolt/bcg too. Mostly cosmetic and a larger button on the gas block. Double ejectors on the bolt! Seems the op rod support sleeve is different. I think the gun is currently also a bit overgassed when suppressed, even properly set to suppressed.

Seriously? I just randomly guessed! It was obviously a KMR so I started with that. It looked longer than most handguards, so I guessed 13". Then looking at the pic, you can see the barrel is shiny, like super shiny so it had to be the SS410 barrel. Added a few filler words and bam.
When I broke in my recent 18" build, I cleaned it, went to the range, shot 60rds of bulk brass through it at a 3-5 shot per minute pace, went home and cleaned it again.
On my 700 5R, I cleaned it, went to the range, shot 13rds through it, nearly blew it up, went home, cleaned it then didn't shoot it for 3mo. You know, to let the barrel season a bit. And after having taken it to the range last week and put another 47rds through it, it shot a 0.7" group at 100yds (over about 30min with other shots in between). It might be broken in, but it still might settle in a bit with another 50-100 or more rounds.
You could always buy some Tubbs Final Finish and reload/shoot those then let me know if I should do the same after an in depth analysis of the results.

Got the telescope out tonight. I could clearly see Saturn and it's rings... Pretty awesome. Had some trouble getting it aligned properly though, so I couldn't use the programmed database to find or identify stuff.

Just unbolted my safe from the floor. Looks like I screwed up when I measured the "2x length" of the redhead wedge bolts. Two of them are sticking above the linoleum about 3/16".
But, I'm not doing shit about them. We told the buyers it would be included at full purchase price. They didn't pay that so they don't get it and they get to deal with the remnants.
On the plus side, I bought it for $500 about 2yrs ago and am selling it to the friend who helped me move it in here for $400. He remembers how much of a bitch it was to move into my house and yet he now wants to help get it out [LOL]

Then, the buyers had 2 days after acceptance of the offer, to get us a letter from the bank indicating they've applied for a loan or are preapproved. We had to call on the 3rd day to demand that letter. Then asked what was going to happen because they violated the contract (it says if they don't do it, the contract is null and void). The realtor once again said, too bad so sad.
Needless to say, we're extremely pissed with the realtor!

I hope you all know that meant I put a couple of runners on the ground. One dude tackled me "linebacker style"..... so I kinda figured out what the "unspoken rules" were, until an event staff member yelled on his speaker phone that "Zombies are NOT track stars!!"...so I kinda backed off after that.

Yeah Kazoo, you're right about the next one going easy. I'm a little upset at myself for some boo boos that I can see I made when I was first starting down here, but I can live with it. I was hitting the boards together a little bit too hard, and a couple of board ends have a little "rise" in the laminate on them, but there's no way in hell I"m gonna tear up the amount of boards it would take to replace them. They'll likely be covered up by the pool table anyways.
Which reminds me I need to call the mover and get that booked, that side of the room is done.

On an unofficial bar be que tour in Kansas City. Never had barbeque I gave a shit about one way or the other until today. We ate at Oklahoma Joe's. Waiting for a table at Jack Stacks now. I recommend the Z Man Sandwich at Oklahoma Joe's for sure.

But seriously though, Jack Stack has some of the best BBQ in KC. I used to be able to buy their BBQ sauce at King Soopers in Boulder, but then they stopped carrying it. I'd have family ship me boxes of 6 or 12 bottles for holidays. I prefer the Spicy version, but the original is delicious too.

You all should be proud of me. I used air tools and successfully removed the fill and drain plugs on my Xterra's rear differential. I figure at 85k I should probably change those fluids out, right? Especially since I've done quite a bit of wheeling underwater. The oil was green and smelled of swamp. Heck, it may have been swamp. [LOL]
Couldn't break the fill plug on the front, and it was too dark to see the transfer case plugs, so I decided to call it a night.

Arthur Bryants is good (little pricey if I recall), Gate's is a classic. If you are nearby and looking to get some to go, McGonigle's Market is a family favorite too (they do smoked everything to go).
We've heard of Arthur Bryants, but I think they might be over hyped since the president went there.
