There was nothing wrong with their construction methods. When they built the houses behind us, it funneled the wind enough that it started causing problems. They tried to fix things internally and nothing solved the problem, so they finally came out and re-routed the pipes.

Hey, it's all billable hours, but we would have been done much earlier if IBM had their update code sorted out.
Cannot download/update for "a" software because "x" firmware is missing. "x" has been superseded by "y" and is now nowhere to be found on the fix site, and "y" has been manually installed anyway.
At least we got the firmware code on the main production system updated. The other turd is just for managing, monitoring, and updating everything.

I loaded 50 rounds of .308 yesterday. I was trying two things out:
1. Seeing if my new awesome crimp die will work for .308 also. I only crimped 25, so I've got a little pool to get a decent average with.
2. Seeing if the 175 SMK 2nds I got are worth a darn. I picked them up for 22ยข per, so 1k was easy. Even if they are nothing but training rounds for the next month, that'll be worth it.
i crimped 30 rds of my .260 match ammo to see if that will help calm down some of the SD and ES I was seeing.

I don't know which of the preview clips I saw, but it was about a month or so before Gravity came out. The two things I saw were:
1. Astronaut 1 lets go of Astronaut 2's tether and starts drifting away... orbits don't work like that.
2. In a free fall environment, Bullock's hair wouldn't lay down nicely, it would appear to float around her head. This is why female astronauts almost always have their hair tied up tightly.
And I just watched the following trailer on youtube and noticed another thing...
OiTiKOy59o4
The ISS and Hubble telescope would never be close to each other. Hubble orbits at an altitude of about 560km and the ISS is usually between 340km and 410km. Inclination (tilt of the orbit) is also quite different between the two: Hubble is 28.5 (direct insertion launch from Cape Canaveral, FL) and the ISS is inclined at 51.6 degrees. The ISS and Hubble combined contain enough fuel to match each other's orbits by ~.001%.
And I don't know what that other structure is that also collides with the ISS, but it shouldn't be there either. Upon reading some of the comments, it seems that this might be the (future planned) Chinese Space Station? It looks like the CSS will be at an inclination of ~40 degrees, and the altitude will closely match the ISS. If they launch on schedule and assuming inclination and altitude don't change, depending on other orbital elements, they could orbit for decades without ever coming within 100km of each other.

Understandable. I've been making due without a pickup for 5 years. I've tried all kinds of things to cram crap in my wife's element.
Yeah, the 2x4s I can fit if I fold the front seat down (8ft) and the OSB (not plywood) will be cut in half to make 2'x8' sheets for the shelves... so i should be able to fit those in the same way. I just don't want to tear up my brand new car :)

I don't just drive into rocks and trees when I'm offroad... [facepalm] I use the vehicle's abilities to go where I want to go safely and I use the built in features and protections to prevent vehicle damage.
I'll probably buy a trailer eventually, but in the meantime, I have to build shelves so that I have a place to put all the junk that is in the garage where I would park the trailer. [Dunno]

Any project is an opportunity to get something that I've wanted/needed.
ex: you need to get the wood from the store to your house safely. The easy way to do that is to procure a trailer and not cause undue wear and tear on your vehicle's interior.
easy.

Already thought of that, but right now I don't have any place to put a trailer, and I would only use it once or twice a year. On top of that, registration fees, taxes, maintenance, initial cost, etc... I can get by with the Xterra for now. Plenty of room inside with seats folded down. Now the trick will be doing this with HB Jr in tow.

Yeah, sure. It's nothing special, just some cheap(ish) shelves that can hold a bunch of gun stuff. Each shelf is 6ft long and 2ft deep. Each shelf should be able to hold a few hundred lbs, but I'm not planning on that much weight. Mostly just range gear and extra stuff that is bulky.

ok, so I don't have $4500 to spend on that bolt gun, BUT I do have a couple hundred to spend on a new barrel for my current R700. This is the one that has a savage-style barrel nut, so it can be swapped out without needing a gunsmith (anymore than a normal savage rifle would). It should arrive by this weekend. sweet!!!!!
