Just a garage style workout. So like crossfit with only body weight since there is little to no equipment. There is a tire, some home made medicine balls, and I brought in a heavy bag that we used once. Oh yeah, I built a jump box last night. I also run some what consistently throughout the week.

20x24x30. I kind of wish I made it longer/taller. I can do 30 inches pretty easily. 36 would have been better. But then not everyone who will use this box can do that.

Last time my wifey woke me up for a scratching noise she heard, it turned out to be a bear pawing at the mud porch. I put the critter killer away and retrieved the bear shotgun. I came out the other door and put a slapping of rubber on its posterior. Decent sized bear, I'd say about 160-170lbs. Haven't seen it since.

My neighbor had some 'pretty looking dogs' in her yard. I watched the dogs in her yard for a minute. Then I called her and asked if there was something I could do to help her get rid of the coyotes. Nope, I'm fine she says.

three minutes later I hear her scream as they are tearing into her chicken coop.

she was very quick to ask for help with getting rid of the coyotes the next time. I enjoyed the target practice, she enjoyed having live chickens. It's a win win.

I want a few bottles that are stable for long term storage. The lamp oil is part of my preps. Those might be okay. I have a gallon of the kleen strip synthetic kerosene for one of my lanterns. The lamp oil burns just a little bit cleaner for indoor use.

I picked up a few ALG QMS triggers from damage factory, for a good price. Nothing fancy, but a noticeable difference over stock.

The movie 'Jack Reacher' was a pretty fun little movie. Here's what bothers me about it. (SPOILERS)

they say that the villain in the movie shoots a lot. Something like thousands per week. The only press he has is a Forster CoAx? Can you imagine loading even 1000 per week on that?

Snipers don't shoot thousands of rounds per week. It's not an accuracy by volume event. It's a lot of field time, yes, but its more like jump in, walk around for two days, get set up, spend the next 36 hours not moving (did I just shit myself? I think I might have), make your reports (or radio them in throughout) then crawl home.
