Looks like an M&P40c is in my future (read: fiancee approved the purchase). Heading to the range next Mon and Tues with a couple of friends, one has an M&P9c that he's going to let me borrow for the day to shoot as much as I want.

Granted, I'll probably sell my LCP to fund the purchase, but as I've said before, if my G23 had a shorter grip (or was a G27), I'd carry it everyday because it just prints too easily. But, I was never really fond of my LCP anyways.

I tried leaving the house without my knee brace the other day when it was over 100deg, big whoops, went back in, got the brace and left the house only to have it start being soaked from sweat in 5min.

Yea, and one of the hardest things is trying to push yourself too hard during PT. After my last surgery, in PT while learning how to walk again (and relearning how to use my quad muscles), I developed a severe case of patellar tendonitis and that sucked worse than the pain from the surgery. Was forced to take 2 or 3 weeks off from PT and delayed me getting back to normal by that much.

My commander, a very tall, larger black guy with a big booming voice who sings gospel music for his church, has challenged me to lose 15-20 pounds by the end of the month.

I know I can do it. I know it's possible and I know I NEED to do it. Not only for my own health but for the sake of being able to advance in my little career here...

BUT! I have SHITTY willpower. I've given up drinking soda and Go Fast([thumb down1]).

The Go Fast has been the most painful, physically. The lack of caffeine is killing my head...

Soda not so much. I didn't really drink much of it to begin with.


Anyway... I'm trying hard. I tried the juice thing, but the lack of solid food was killing me. I'm going to start doing a juice type deal for most of the day with 1 solid meal and 1 solid snack during the day.

To supplement this all I've started running... Which is also kicking my ass... I hate running...

I still lift weights. Something I don't really need to do much more of. I'm plenty strong.

I just REALLY need to buckle down and do this shit... But finding the correct motivation is hard... Especially with the shitty willpower I have...

I tell you man, get out and walk 30 minutes every day and drink a gallon of water throughout the day. You can lose 15 pounds in a month no problem.
