Hey hoes. My '99 Cavalier with a manual transmission calls for Synchromesh tranny fluid to be used. Advanced Auto Parts didn't have that specifically, but plenty of alternatives. They had Dexron and Dexron substitutes, but I'm pretty sure Synchromesh pre-dates Dexron. What says the group?

Oh yeah, I broke a $10 coolant hose so now need to flush the coolant system, and broke a stud off the starter and had to go buy a reman unit to replace the original. Those two minor issues have more than doubled the cost of this adventure.

After a big merger, I started ending up travelling to meet with the guys from the other company, who were East-coasters used to lots of wining and dining at fancy restaurants. Tons of great food and wine, but it really does get old after a while. There were nights I just wanted to have a burger and go home, and not spend 4-5 hours every night eating steak and drinking wine with a ton of guys from work. Doesn't sound like something I should complain about too loudly though, huh?

I certainly wouldn't turn down a good discount. Just keep in mind, that grip is a lot thinner than your full size. I don't think it bothers most, but it did me.

I remember once working at the powerplant at a FMC mine. Inside the plant over the generators it was 100 degrees plus, outside -20. In many cases the forest was over grown to begin with. No harm no foul. Need for 85' Christmas trees is pretty low.

Christmas trees for the masses are farm grown domestically and imported, just like corn and fruit.

Slightly off topic - Our govt management of the forest resources for the last century has been criminal in my opinion. My family was in the timber industry for many years, we harvested and sawed during the 60's, 70's and 80's. Between early environmentalists and politics, one of our renewable resources has been squandered and and put behind 50-80 yrs.
