Someone new at the place I normally go, mine was OK, but she kinda F up the grandson's fauxhawk.

No more commercial haircuts for me.

Been cutting my own hair for about 20 years now, same clippers. Wahl made in USA, have paid for themselves many times over.

For safety, Taco Bell should be placed straight into the toilet. Maybe a lead lined toilet for the greatest safety.

What you are looking at is a gable wall that was blown in by the wind. Things of note: There is NO SHEATHING! The 2x4s are notched and nailed to the rafter with two nails each. 1" ISO board is secured to the 2x4s and then vinyl siding. That's it. It's like building code is a dirty word down here. Today I was on a $600,000+ house (so an easy 1.5 mil in Denver) and they didn't even run the felt under the singles all the way to the eaves. A good 12" short. Ridiculous.

Fits really well, has a wire to conform at the nose, and the adjustable elastic for the ears works great too. Scheduled as soon as I could for the local joint where I get my hair cut. Earliest I could get in was the 21st. I'm thinking that I'll go pretty short since the length of my hair is driving me nuts and I'm not sure how soon I'll get in again for my next cut.

Yep. The Gov is mandating for barber shops/salons. Costco is also mandating company-wide, which has resulted in some calls for boycotts.
Most of the people I see wearing masks are 'doing it wrong' and constantly re-adjusting, including grabbing the mask by the outside. I can understand why they were determined to be ineffective for the public, but it's Coronavirus-Theater. "We're doing something."
Protect those at risk and as for the rest of us, let the chips fall where they may, IMHO. Life throws this crap at us and we have immune systems for a reason.

My mother could not stand Del Taco in Colorado (Stapleton, aurora, and one near chambers and 104th) . It made her stomach not comfortable.
When she moved to Lasvegas (Henderson), she went to Del Taco and said it was the most tolerable fast food she can handle. I think she goes to del taco 3x month now.

Carls Jr @ 40th and Colo. used to give me grief every time I asked for tots with my Super Star instead of their shitty fries. But they usually caved.

I dealt with this a few times this past weekend. Somehow she didn't understand that she was putting herself at more risk with her flailing about than the miller moth could possibly do. [Flower]

Have you looked into a 'sleeve' for showering? I used one for months (2 separate cases) to cover the PICC line in my left bicep. Did a great job of keeping the area dry. I'll see if I can find one for the location in question.

Our fast food consumption has gone to almost zero(it was low before) during this crap. Being in the sticks - 13 miles to nearest town and 28 miles to nearest fast food - and only going to town when absolutely necessary.
Most trips to town include take out order to support local restaurant. They are good folks and if they go out of business it is the 28 mile trip minimum to any restaurant.

If not too muddy later this morning I am going to take one of the minions badger hunting. Noticed a fresh burrow couple days ago in pasture that neighbors are getting ready to fence in for horses.
If he's home we will try convince him to move on. If not home, fill in burrow and check back in couple days. Most times when badger realizes you know where he lives he moves. Pretty rare have to engage and eliminate.

120# berserker got her new moniker from vet techs when I took her in for pedicure and vaccination. Vacc and nail trim went good, but while on scale for weight another tech down the hall crossed hall carrying someone's pet rabbit and Reba saw it.
She barked and bolted down hallway, pulled loose from her tech and barely missed making it into exam room with tech and rabbit.
Sounds like caught techs off gaurd and she gave them all they could handle for a minute.
Since COVID they come out to car and get pet, you wait in car and they bring pet back out. Not something I would normally agree to but Vet said she would over see herself. She handled Reba well, was not upset and apologised.

Hope the DIY works for you CN. It was a PITA for me and never seemed to keep it dry. The sleeve was convenient and quick. Made daily showers easy.

Thanks. I remember some people doing this with old motors on rollers, or torn down treadmills. I'm lazy and see no need to redo what's already available, outside some brackets etc. i welded up
I have all this brass to clean up and possibly process, or not before listing for sale. Instead of burning out my corn cob on dirty brass. I went with the hf walnut blast (fine) media. 1 hr using only a few drier sheet to keep dust down. This does what i wanted with minimal use of the finishing (corn cob) media.

Have some things to do up in Cheyenne after lunch so decided to just work from home this morning. And I use the term work loosely. Probably leave the house around 11:30 and head north.
8:38 and I am already hungry.
That's pretty standard for me. I like a large breakfast and then I have the option to skip lunch. I like to eat more in the morning and taper my meals as I go through the day. Just the way I'm wired I guess.
My wife, on the other hand, doesn't get hungry until closer to lunch time.

I've had those days where nothing seems to work. Even speaking to people doesn't seem to work. It's like you're speaking some alien language and other people can't seem to understand the simplest things? Sometimes it makes me just want to go back to bed and try again tomorrow.
