It's not really a simulator. You're in a scenario where it's shoot, or don't shoot, in real time. Unless they changed it, due to someone complaining.
If you have the same response team guys we had. You'll really like what they have to say.
The instructor running the program can change the scenario in real time while you're in it. Voice commands that you make, change how he runs it and I bet it's better now than it was those years ago.

This academy doesn't have anything like that at all, and I don't see that there is any live fire range time or any vehicle driving/training like Brighton had. They will have some other interesting things that I'm sure will make the time spent there worthwhile. I would kick their ass driving in their own vehicles though, I know that.

I feel that since I didn't make a ton of money, and other unrelated stuff was going on concurrently, that it negatively influenced my feelings of Arizona in an unfair manner.
Currently, my assessment was that visiting AZ was like running into an ex-girlfriend in public. Then after a few moments of the awkward "How have you been?" stuff, you realize, you never actually dated this girl. But you know that if you had, it wouldn't have worked out.

I really enjoyed the rain. We got caught in a crazy storm that blew over trees onto RVs and smoked at least five transformers and all the power. Fun times.
That was a doozy last night in Aurora. 3:30AM, it's like POW! I thought it must be a tornado or something. It came on that strong. Cloud to cloud lightning, just a totally intense "rain storm." My car started honking, but you couldn't hear it over the storm. Freakish.

I'm not a pussy, but somehow I'm worried about this business. Shoulders never really did heal right, and I need my fuckin hands to work. Tired of the constant pain though.

This morning I'm having ulnar transposition surgery for cubital tunnel syndrome in the left hand. Had it done on the right side last January. It has gradually corrected the neuropathy and muscle atrophy. I should be good to go for hunting season.

basically people generate scar tissues (arthrofibrosis) after some large surgery. if it gets excessive regen, it can limit flex/ext on your joint.
3 people who is doing fellowship said that they have never seen anything like my case before.
The way to get rid of it is do those removal cleanup surgery. it can be done orthoscopy or incision. As my case they decide to do orthoscoppic this time, because regular surgery will delay my physical thearpy and start regen'ing scar tissues.
this is very reason that I decide not to do any more replacement surgery. :)

I'm doing fine. Had a nice rest while under anesthesia. The neuro surgery for cubital tunnel is a little more serious than for carpel tunnel which only requires a local anesthetic. For cubital tunnel they have to put you under to move the ulnar nerve around to the opposite side of the elbow. My arm will be in a brace and sling for a month. Full healing of the nerve can take 6 mo. to 3 years. I let the right arm go too long before discovering the problem, so had the left arm done before it became as bad. Nothing nearly so serious as what OBC, CN, MrP and GK have dealt with. You guys are tough.

Pico de gallo is diced tomatoes, onions, cilantro, maybe some peppers, salt, and maybe a citrus juice. Never cooked, and always chunky.
To cut to the chase, the literal translation of pico de gallo is "beak of the rooster" which is hilarious, and not really related to what it actually is. I asked my wife what the direct translation for pico de gallo was, and she just stared laughing, saying that no one has ever asked her, and she hasn't ever thought about it before.
I think I'm going to ask for a side of beak of the rooster at an authentic Mexican restaurant in the future and see how that goes.

All of the kitchen appliances I bought for this place were brand new KitchenAid. The first time it failed I thought it might have been because it was installed a year before we officially moved in so I wasn't too butt hurt about it. It's out of pocket now and I hope the newer parts are an answer to the failure(s). All of the other appliances have performed exceptionally well.
I hope that Brutal and my dishwasher bs will be considered rectified on these recent efforts. I don't mind washing shit with two hands that can get wet, it's the principle.

My Kitchen Aid dishwasher tried to burn down my house. This brand is on my will not do business with list. The design was shit and the control board was poorly designed and decided to let out the magic smoke. Customer service said too bad talk to your insurance we don?t have parts and will not give you a replacement. That model had 160+ cases on the gov customer complaints site for immolating itself.
So if you are just seeing failure you are being lucky.

The control board frequently claimed the door was open and/or the unit unlevel. I went round and round with support over this since the day it was installed. Wasted countless hours and frustration only to be proven right when they redesigned the board.
The "rubber" boot on the bottom of the water riser tube failed. The boot alone cannot be purchased so it was $165 riser tube with a "redesigned" boot.
FWIW, the "rubber" products chicom is producing are pure garbage. I've had similar issues with vehicle door boots using Dorman replacement parts (they are now dead to me) and now it appears my $87K truck uses a chicom rubber shift boot that's destined to fail as it's already showing abnormal wear after 8K miles.
I went Bosh after that on DW. It had only one failure in 10 years and that was the water inlet valve. $45 at local store and in stock. Apparently a common failure.

Backup camera, + in car camera/DVR, + auxillary camera (front/offroad) are all available without any switching. Also compatible TPS sensors are available. Makes an old dog have all the modern features. They are held in good regards in reviews - seems to usually last.

Saw an interview with a young man from FL on FOX this morning. Boy's name is Zechariah Cartledge.
This 14 yr old kid is a better example than most adults in our country today. This is what good parenting produces. I couldn't find a link for this mornings interview but there are others easily found. Boy runs miles raising money for fallen first responders and speaks like a seasoned anchor with respect and holds a presence unusual for his youth.

You could try talking to them too. I talked to my Jehova's Witnesses for at least two years after they came knocking. To go door to door for any reason besides money might mean they might have something important to say.

I was working in Utah and took one of the local guys to lunch for helping me throughout the day. Nice kid but, like most things Utah, he was Mormon. Two young men came into the diner and approached us to see if we knew about their lord and savior or whatever and before I could politely send them packing the Mormon kid engaged them and for the entirety of my meal I had to listen to them discussing their religion.
Needless to say I never took that kid to lunch again as sitting in peace and quiet for half an hour in the middle of the day is the best part about stopping for lunch.

As a recovering catholic i can appreciate the desire to talk religion to people. But one must be open to such ideas, in the first place. Talking religion, to one who clearly shows no interest, why waste your time or theirs?
With that said. I had a group who for some reason, felt the need to continually ask me about jesus.
My reply was. IF we're all god's children. Would that not make jesus my brother?
Why yes, it would. Great, tell him he forgot to put gas back in the truck he borrowed, he owe's me $20. .
